Panorama Hotel: Great Hotel, Right On The Beach!
What a great hotel! I was able to stay here for next to nothing through a friend of mine, but I would have been willing to pay the normal rate, which I believe is anywhere between 60 and 90 Euros depending on the month.
It's location is great, right on Keykubat beach, very near the harbor and all of the restaurants & nightlife there. The complex is quite spatial, with the main hotel itself just across the street from the beach, and the restaurant, bar and a few more rooms right on the beach. There is a walkway underneath the street for easy access to the beach. There is a huge pool and a smaller kiddie pool for children right in the middle of the complex. There are also tennis courts and a sauna on the property, although I personally did not use them. Every evening there was a performance show put on; the one I went to was a traditional Anatolian dance presentation, very cool!
The room was rather large with a balcony facing the sea. The decor was fairly basic, but pleasant and extremely clean, with air conditioning, satellite t.v., and a stocked mini bar. The restaurant had a nice breakfast, mostly consisting of fruits, breads and cheeses. You can even grab a snack or a meal right on the beach at a little covered area the hotel has there. I found this wonderful after spending half a day frolicking in the water and sunbathing! And the staff was unbelievably nice & hospitable, always had smiles on their faces!
I have to say this is one of the best experiences I have ever had at a hotel! The management truly seems to be in the business of making it's guests come away with a satisfied feeling, and that they got what they paid for and more. Highly recommended!

HOTEL HAMBURG: HAPPY HAMBURG
The hotel Hamburg was one of these hotels where everything was adaquate but nothing special. Its located on the outskirts of Alanya so a dolmus is needed to get into town. We whent on a half board basis which means we got breakfast and evening meal included in the price, but this turned out to be a waist of money because the amount of restaurants ther are in Alanya is staggering, plus we was tied down if you like at meal times, the meals wher buffett style and tended to be the same old thing every night, so after a week we dicided to cut our losses and eat out from then on. The hamburg was in a good beachside position with very good views from the hotel rooms, however we was traveling as a family and our room was above there bar and disco which did not stop untill 2 or 3am in the morning. The beach oppositt the hotel was good untill it came to swimming, there wher very large bolders that you have to get over before you could get into the sea. The inside of the hotel was in general need of refurbishment
Good pool area

HOTEL HAMBURG: HAPPY HAMBURG
This is the back of the hotel Hamburg around the pool area. This is one of the few good points this hotel has to offer, the sun sets over the sea in the evening so around 3pm the pool was lovely and shaded, which made a welcoming break from the hot Alanya sun.

Elysée Beach Hotel: Elysée Beach Hotel
As we arrived to the Hotel after 4hours of flying and 2hours in a bus from Antalya to Alanya the receptionist gave us our key and started mumbling in very bad English breakfast and dinner times (I didn´t understand half of what he said). As we came up to our room it wasn´t clean, no fresh towels and the sheets was dirty. After waiting for one more hour we finally got the room, and they only changed the towels and sheets!!!!!!!!!!!
The staff spoke very BAD English, the pool was open from 10 to 19.30!! It is a great location right on the beach.
I do not recommend this hotel.

Happy Elegant Hotel: 5 Star? Not quite.
We are staying in this 5* hotel, which, to be honest, justifies at least 4 of its stars. The rooms are great, the service is friendly, though English speakers are few and far between, and the beach is great, with plenty of activities during the day. Also, they gave us a free upgrade when we arrived, as it is our honeymoon.
So, the reason it shouldn’t have the 5th star? Food. Not a great variety and not a great taste. Biggest complaint from everyone we’ve spoken to so far. Otherwise though, highly recommended!
Best thing about the hotel is it's location - very close to the beach. Something else we noticed, as the hotel has recently been enlarged, some of the rooms have a balcony facing onto an interior lobby. Not quite a view to doe for :p

Rosella Apart & Hotel: Rosella Apart & Hotel
I stayed at Rosella for 10 days in august 2009. The staff was so friendly and there was always cleaned around the pool. The rooms was really good and comfortable. The balcony was large enough for 2 people + 1.
The size was enough for 3 people even though we was just 2. The beds consisted of to single beds and not a double bed. The air-condition was effective and always functional.
The pool was a huge disappointment to us. It was tiny and the surroundings covered for the sun almost the entire day. There are only place for 8 people at the pool which was a problem.
The bar was really bad. The bartender was by far the most funny and charming person you could imagine but he didn't know how to make a simple drink, like a tom collins(which were on the drink card). Even though the staff was extremely friendly they should focus on making better drinks.
The restaurant wasn't that good - It might be the worst food we ever got in 10 days in Alanya. But it was really cheap at the same time.
The hotel is placed 50 meters from the beach. It is highly recommended that you use the beach instead if the pool. You also get discount if you stay at Rosella while using the beach.
The hotel is very close to the main beach road but there wasn't a lot of noice even though. You can get lucky and get a great view to the ocean. Closeby there are a small shop where you can get the bascis and a cabstand.
There are about 1 km to the city center. The only problem about it is that 20-30 people will try to drag you into their stores while to are on your way to the center.
Because of that I recommend you to walk on the beach side of the road because of the lack of stores.

HOTEL ALANYA: THE PERFECT LOCATION
The Riviera really is a great hotel, we picked this hotel mainly because of its location, which is right on Cleopatra beach, and only a 15 min walk into the center of Alanya, which suits me fine coz im a lazy git LOL
One of the great things about this hotel we thought was its got 2 pools so getting a sun bed next to the pool is no problem at all, in fact we choose to sun bathe in the small pool which is to the side of the hotel, and we almost had this pool to ourselves during the whole holiday

HOTEL GARDENIA: LOOKS NICE
The hotel Gargenia is located to the side of the Riviera hotel and although we never stayed at this hotel i thought i would give it a mention because it looked a very nice place to stay
The hotel Gardenia is a 3 star rated hotel which lies directly on the lovely Cliopatra beach, it has a great swimming pool located to the back of the hotel with a large water slide, i think it has 2 bars and the restaurant is located on the top floor of the hotel giving you fantastic views while you dine in the restaurant, this hotel has 119 rooms in total, other amenities include
Piped music in rooms
They also run a transfer service from Antalia airport which is 110 euros one way

Prince (App. Hotel): A small but functioning hotel
We had a package trip, with flights and accommodation including in the price; that's why I cannot give any price estimate on the hotel.
The hotel was a nice, functioning but small hotel. Our double room was actually an apartment, but small - anyhow bigger than only a room. We had a small living room/sitting area, separate bedroom with one double bed, kitchenette and fully equipped bathroom. The room/apartment could have been a little bit bigger; it was not a place to spend time really. We had a small balcony too, facing to another buildings and an alley; not to the pool. The sea was too far. Also the pool was very small; and a limited amount of sun chairs only.
The distance to the Kleopatra beach was a bit too long, 2,0-2,5 km and no transportation, so I at least went only once to the beach per day and made sure I didn't forget anything.
The restaurants, bars and the party area (harbour) were quite near, appr. 1 km from the hotel (some 10-15 min walking depending on the clothing, heels, things to carry etc).
The staff was very nice and helpful, spoke English naturally. It was handy to be able to eat something at lunchtime by the poolside; so no need to do the back-and-forth thing all the time. We always had the dinner then somewhere else.
Due to the size of rooms and balcony view, as well as distance from many places I personally wouldn't choose this hotel again even though there was nothing really negative and it was OK.
Staff and its attitude, positive mind.

Orient Appartments: Appartment Near Eastern Beach
These delightful modern apartments are spacious, well designed and nicely furnished, as you might expect since they are owned by an architect and a building engineer. A bit isolated of fun & life in Alanya you should take a walk to get in of these ...
The studios have twin beds, TV, kitchenette, shower, wc and private safe-deposit and balcony. Air conditioning is available (payable locally).
However much the swimming pool invited for a swim nobody actually took a dive. A true and nice appartment for young people who donot care about view, facilities and distances. The price per person is all included for two weeks (trip and appartment, so a quite cheap budget travel)). Though next time we will look for the Orient Palace Hotel ... *LOL*

The Kaya Hotel has a bed capacity of 220. This 3 star hotel is preferred by many foreign tourists mainly for being at the center of Alanya. Moreover, the Cleopatra Beach is situated right in front of the hotel.

Kardelen apart otel: My best mates!!!
Kardelen is lovely! It's like a home from home, the rooms are clean and fully equipt, the beds are comfy and the comforting sound of 50 cent can be heard from the bar from about 10 in the morning. It has a large pool, table tennis facilities, a garden and nice little adventure playground. The balconies are huge with a gret view of the pool and the air conditioning is great when you've returned from a long hot day shopping! My stay was comfortable and friendly, i really didn't want to come home the staff at the Kardelen are brilliant , even though the hotel is a ten minute walk from the beach the atmosphere of the resort makes up for it!
Apart from the fact the staff are slightly loopy they're brilliant so friendly and helpful by the second day we where chatting around the bar as if we was old mates! The other unique thing about the Kardelen is the three weird little japanese dogs my favourite is pouhckla. I just love the Kardlen you couldn't find a bteer hotel in all of Turkey, the staff at the kardelen treat you like friends not customers.

Mitos Apartments: Probably Alanya's best Apart Otel
My boyfriend and I stayed here for two weeks - was long enough. The apartments were clean but fairly basic. Would recommend if on a student budget and just intend to use the place as somewhere to sleep for the night.
We were self catering and the apartments provided very little as they want you to eat at the restaurant/cafe downstairs instead or the other local cafes. There was two 'hot plates' to cook on - no oven, microwave, toaster etc - so was quite challenging trying to cook pasta or rice with one large pan with a lid that didn't fit and a tiny pan with no lid! There was no strainer so we tried using a juice extractor! A few plates, glasses and cutlery was provided as well as a small fridge and freezer drawer. You would need to bring your own washing up liquid, tea-towels, sponges, surface cleaners etc as they are not provided. There a cleaners that visit daily - but all they do is sweep the floor with a turkish broomstick, give you clean towels and maybe change the sheets in the bedroom if they can be bothered.
It did annoy us as they didn't lock the doors properly or left them open after they had been in as we were worried about our stuff being nicked, and also they moved all stuff around like the chairs and our plates etc - they had no right to really. Just keep all your stuff locked up in your suitcase that is valuable - it could be moved by the cleaners or go missing!
Staff friendly and quite helpful, but do continually pester you if sitting at the bar/restaurant for you to buy more food/drink. Don't feel bad about saying no! Safety deposit lockers are opposite reception costing £10 per week. Air Con is an extra £20 per week and only available in the bedrooms. Is needed at night as so hot in the bedrooms, but then with it on - its so bloody cold you need to wrap towels around you as well as the flimsy sheets they provide you with! Its from one extreme to the other!
Pool was nice - not that big but well kept and a small childrens pool next to it. It's not heated -great to cool off, but quite chilly first thing or as you lose the sun by the pool around 4pm. Pool is open from 9am-6pm, there are 18 loungers - usually enough for everyone, but not very comfortable.
Sun umbrellas are provided and it is advisable to use them as you can burn so quickly around 11am-3pm. In early July temperatures reached 42 degrees! Watch out for the red dragon flies buzzing around the pool and the stray cats drinking the water - can get quite annoying! Banana trees are planted around the pool to give a tropical feel - at night it attracts millions of mosquitos - wear plenty of bug spray and spray the rooms - the bugs will still get in through the open windows and bite. Not as close to the beach as we were told, and can't see it from the Apartments, was a bit disappointing. There are many buildings tightly surrounding the apartments, with many nosy locals liking to look in when standing on their own balconies.
Windows don't have locks on the them and slide up easily, was a bit worrying. The lock got stuck in the bedroom one night too and couldn't get out until someone from reception rescued us the following morning! Bathroom was ok, shower fairly large - water heated by solar panels - so either v. hot or cold! In turkey their sewerage system is not as efficient to that of the UK, the pipes are a lot narrower and visitors are asked to place toilet tissue/sanitary towels in an open bin next to the toilet. As you can imagine due to the hot weather the stench in the public toilets is sickening. Be warned!!
The water is not drinkable, buy plenty of bottled water. We got through around three 1.5 litre bottles a day, costing around 1.5 YTL (around 55p), so is very cheap. Is ok to shower in and use the water to brush your teeth.
