The hotel does have sat t.v. in the rooms but unless you are German its useless, all the stations were German exept 2 and then one of them had no sound LOL, anyway who goes on holiday and watches t.v.
Another must in my opinion is the mini bar (fridge) although the rules say that you can't bring your own drinks into the hotel, we did because it was a lot cheaper to do that, just make sure that you take them back out of the fridge before the maids check the fridge in the mornings
Air conditioning is a must if you visit this part of the country in July, August, and Sep, i remember going to Alanya over 8 years ago and the hotel did not have air con, boy did we suffer LOL
Here is another view of the pool, and as you can see there are lots of sun brollies to keep the hot sun off
This is the main swimming pool of the hotel and as i have said before getting a sun bed is no problem at all, it really is a joy to get out of bed in the morning, have your breakfast and not see loads of empty sun beds with towles reserving them for people who don't turn up untill lunch time
This shows the main swimming pool that our room looked over, as you can see though it gets very shadey in the afternoon, but this is not a bad thing really because of the scorching Turkish sun
I took this shot also from our balcony and shows the bar seating area of the hotel and the tallest palm tree i have ever seen
This is the beautiful view we had from the hotel Riviera, in fact all rooms at this hotel have a large balcony with a side sea view, and you get the sun right up untill it dissappears over the hills around 6pm
The telephone network has greately improved since the last time i came to Alanya, we had no problems at all phoning England from the hotel telephone, although its still quite pricey so best to get a phone card which you can buy most anywhere
When you check in at the hotel you will be issued with a card, this card is used to gain access into your room and it also turns on the electricity and air con in your room
Unique Quality: Thiscard is also used like a credit card, everytime you order food or drink from the hotel they will take your card, give you a reciept and ask you to sign it, your bill then goes onto there computor where you can pay it off whenever you like. We found it is best to pay this bill every 2 or 3 days otherwise it could get out of control. This is not the first time i have come across this system in a hotel and it seems to be a growing trend with more and more hotels over the past few years, its actually not a bad way to go, but you must remember its a form of credit, don't over do it, and check your reciepts againsd your bill to see if it all adds up when you pay
