The harbour
Go, see the castle with its long wall by the sea and 140 towers; and its neigbourhood with toy-like houses. Go inside the castle, do a bit of climbing and you've got yourself a beautiful view! The Mediterannean on one side and the Toros Mountains on the other.
We have been to Alanya back in 1998 and we had a great time there. We met a couple there and we go along very well. Turned out they live close to us so now, 2003, we are still good friends.
There is quite a bit to do there. We only stayed for a week what was too short, at least that is my opinion. The beach was lovely, nice city with nice shops and restaurants, many places to go to and see things.
So, in general, if you go there you won't get bored!
