do you have to have i.d. for medusa
and how old do you have to be
and last question - do youhave to pay for any of the clubs?

it was 3 years ago when I went Didim and Altinkum for the last time. In one of those days I wanted to spend a night in Medusa with my friend but later we learned that we wouldn't be allowed inside without a female with us. This rule is strict no matter what nationality you are.So we wanted to wait, then a group of single ladies arrived and we told them we would be honored if they would join us. That's how we had the chance to go inside :-)

well im 17 and im going over with a couple of girls for the summer as my parents have a villa over there, so do you reckon we would be allowed to go in? thankyou for the reply xD

well, to be honest, if your phsycial appereance is looking more than 17, there will not be a problem. The guards will check the IDs only when they have doubt in mind. but there's one more possibility that they might check randomly which you can't disregard. so everything is worth to risk :-) have a nice nice holiday...

Travel Tips for Altinkum

Motorbike adventure

While in Altinkum in '05 me and my friends hired motorbikes / mopeds and headed off early to visit the ruins of Militos and Prienne after visiting these truly great places we headed back to the coast and found an isolated beach restaurant to feast on sea bass and sea bream before heading back along the coast to Altinkum , although we must of covered 80 + km , we found the roads good (re-fuel in Soke) and the chance to do as we please far better then the organized trips . Obviously plenty of sunscreen and drinks needed for all day riding .

Hey, what else did we come here for? The only reason most people come out to Turkey is to get pissed and go home with a great tan. The beaches are lovely and the water even better. A lot of time was spent in and out of the water due to the heat. The only problem with the beaches are the constant harassing of the guys trying to sell either excursions or ice-cream. Just hide behind your shades and read a magazine and they then tend to leave you alone.
