If you do not feel like doing the two day trip to Effesus and Pamukkalae (which is what I would suggest) then you must do the day trip. Situated approx 3 hours drive from Altinkum you go to this wonder. It is absolutely fantastic to walk in the warm thermal waters and to swim in it is even a better option. We did the 2 day trip and slept over in Pamukkalae at the most wonderful hotel that had a normal swimming pool, thermal bath and a jaccuzzi. So needless to say, we jumped from one to the other and had great fun in the process.

"A Great place!"

I took my 7 year old daughter to Altinkum this July for a week. we had a really lovely time, 99% of everyone there is very friendly and helpful. The weather was great (although it was starting to get too hot towards the end of our week) the food is lovely and very cheap. I would definately reccomend this place to anyone - it has everything you need from family nights to clubbing - something for everyone.
