visit the beautiful Upper Düden Waterfalls, l4 km northeast of Antalya. Don’t miss an excursion offering to visit it! The air near this waterfall is cool even in the hottest day. The waterfalls - more pictures in my Antalya travelogues. Welcome.

A little bit outside from Alanya you find the Dimcay River. Follow the street a little bit up into the mountains(ca.30 Km), and you find the wonderful nature there.
And some brilliant Restaurants! We must cross these bridge, because we want to go for dinner at the other side of the river!

If you want to die in a foreign country, please choose this way! Your last memories will be exciting and immortal! Well, you’ll die of joy at least.
If you want to have stronger impressions:
**Don’t choose an 8-seat boat for a group of people. Better take a 2-seats canoe.
**Don’t forget to jump from the rock.
**Run away from the guides, their care is irritating.
**Target to the centre of the whirlpool, more chances that your boat will turn over.
If you still want to leave alive, put a helmet on and listen to the guide’s instructions how to save your bot when the stream carries your poor body along the mountain river.
Summer Fortnight In Antalya
by hcsbusman
"Jet Lag R & R"
Following the nineteen hour flight from LAX, getting on land again was great. We stayed two nights at La Paloma Pensione in the Old City area of Antalya.
The pool, room and delightful daily breakfast revived and rejuvenated our group.
"Oh!The wonderful people"
Our group was staying with local host families. My hosts were a interesting couple in their late 30's with a beautiful 6 year old daughter.
Each morning before they left for work, they prepared a splendid Mediterranean breakfast of cheeses, olives, local fresh fruit and assorted breads.
I walked through town daily to Saint Paul's Cultural Center (our daily starting pont). The people on the street were very friendly and warm.
The street featured sculptures in bronze spaced at several trolley stops. Antalya has a good mass transit system of buses and electric trolleys.
"Beautiful beaches"
The local beaches were clean and well maintained. The warm Mediterranean waters were a pleasant change from the cool Pacific Ocean waves of my hometown.
Local & tourists mingled playing beach volleyball, sunning or enjoying beverages at the many beachside vendors.
