More about Lara Beach Hotel
Enjoyed Lara Beach Hotel
We were a party of four young pensioners. Arriving late because of flight delay so were happy it was only 20mins from the airport. There was a meal waiting for us on arriving at the hotel. We had two rooms on the 7th floor but the key card would not open the door of our room ,so on going down to reception three times for new cards ,we were given new premium rooms on the 5th floor with large seaview belconys next to each other. The Hotel has waste ground each side of it ,on one side is a small lake and taking a walk around it we saw Kingfishers, herons, flock of gold finches, and some lovely birds we couldnt idenify.Blue crabs and large fish that the locals were trying to catch. The Hotel has lots of large pools one for over 16 s and one big shallow one for children only with small flumes, and a vast pool with flumes for everyone. On the beach there are large covers to give you shade if needed ,and a pontoon with huge cushions to lay on ,From the beach walking towards the hotel you come to the yorek tent were three men are making wonderfull pizza's and a lady makeing filled p itta bread . There is a snack bar for lunch try the lemon tart and chicken salad. Moving up to the hotel you pass the towel shed you have a card each to exchange for beach towels if you loose it you have to pay £5 for another.another shed for tennis rackets, balls. and other aquipment. On the ground floor of the Hotel is the dinning room you can sit inside and out .to eat the lovely food ,breakfast has everything for a english breakfast exept bacon as they dont eat pork. Eggs anyway you want. Lunch and dinner there is so much to choose from and at night there is a barbicue outside doing steak, liver, lamb ,burgers..Upstairs there are two dineing rooms one Italian and one Turkish and you can dine there once in each for every week you are there. The only downside to the hotel is its a long way anywere there is a shuttle bus free that goes at 11am and returns at 5pm from Antalya. and takes 25min .and the local bus takes 1hour as it takes in all the villages on its way . Taxis want 30euro but you can barter. All the other hotels have tight secuity as ours did so you cannot visit them and its a bit of a walk to a block of expensive shops just being finished and not all opened Finally take some mosi cream as the waist ground next to hotel in the evening has lots of biteing flying mosi's All prices in the shops are in euro's and turkish lira On the whole its one of the best Turkey hotels we have been in ,and we have been to turkey 7 times.
Lara Beach 5 Star Hotel 5* place
We stayed in here in September 2006 for a week. We were a little worried before coming as we had not stayed all inclusive before and weren't sure whether the food would be up to much.
I can honestly say this one of my best holidays!!!
The food was excellent and there was so much variety each evening there was an outdoor BBQ where chefs served Lamb, Steak, Kebab, Chicken, Liver, Turkey and my favourte a freshly carved Tuna (See pictures)
At dinner time you could go and eat to your hearts in the main buffet or go to the Yoruk Tent where you could order a freshly made pizza of your choice.
For breakfast you could order freshly made omelette, pancakes, waffles with Nuttella my fav!!
I am a very fussy eater and loved everything.
Now onto the best bit. THE SWIMMING POOL!! - or the lake as I called it, I have never seen a pool so big and I have travelled to many places. We went in September and even though the complex was busy I seemed to be the only one in the pool.
The slides and the quiet pool were also excellent but didnt dare to go on middle slide as someone was injured on it whilst I was there!
The beach was lovely as was the pier with Massive Cushions to lounge on but you have to be prepared to grab them early!1
Accomodation was really nice and rooms were modern clean and tidy but my parents got a massive front balcony and we ended up with what I called a prison cell! (See picture)
The only bugbare was the nightly entertainment which should be better for a 5 star hotel, put it this way there was a pantomime of Aladdin mimed to the disney soundtrack, I will leave it there.
Overall this is one of the best hols I have been on and if youre going in September we will see you there I will be the one eating all the pancakes!!
Would Highly Recomment this Hotel
My partner and I (both in our mid 30's) were looking for a last minute relaxing holiday, the Lara Beach Hotel did not dissapoint. The staff are extremely friendly and efficient, rooms are large and clean, excellent facilities and a wide variety of food. There are 3 A La Carte resteraunts but to be honest the buffet food is so good that I wouldn't necessarily visit them again, unless you prefer to have your meals brough to you there is no other advantage.
The only slightly negative thing I would say is that on the one rainy day we had there was little to keep us occupied as there is not really anywhere to go other than beach or pool area as still very much a developing resort.
To summarise, if you want an excellent quality all inclusive hotel then The Lara Beach is ideal, a short ride from the airport, impressively clean and well maintained, lots to eat and drink and friendly staff. Hope you enjoy as much as we did.
Take english money or Euros (all prices are in Euros)
Tip staff individually - tip boxes go to the chef!
Take a trip to a Turkish Bath on your first day or 2 - its Fab!
Take beach shoes as sand a little stoney.
A Fabulous Week..
After deciding to stay in the Lara Beach hotel i wasnt completely sure what to expect due to reading mixed reviews and the hotel only being open just a year but the experience was truly incredible and its fair to say that i had an incredible time and will without a doubt go back.
The hotel grounds are simply stunning and the maintanence is probably the best i've seen of any hotel.
The hotel rooms are pretty standard but definately acceptable considering not long is spent in the room.
The facilities offered by the hotel are very good, the entertainment team were exaclty that, complete entertainment and fantastic to watch as well as to get to know. They all work amazingly hard and have done a brilliant job.
The food was definately above average standards, the buffets offered a large choice of foods and were always refilled no matter what time you were eating. The food supply is also seemingly ever lasting and always of a high standard.
The bar and restaurant staff are also fantastic, always friendly and smiling and take time to get to know guests on a personal level by remembering typical drink orders and going to great lengths to ensure the guest gets what they want.
Overall my stay at Lara beach cannot be faulted, everything was truly 5*, the hotel is beautiful and all the staff are friendly, helpful and accomodating. The beach too cannot be faulted and drink machines placed around the resort made it easy to keep hydrated in the hot weather and should definately be included in all resorts.
I will definately go back to the Lara beach resort and would recommend it to anyone from families with young children to families with teenage children to couples, singles and the older generations, its truly 5* and i would find it hard to see how someone couldnt enjoy the experience, there truly is something for everyone.
Very very good
This was our second time at Hotel Lara Beach. Both times the staff have made the holiday excellent. We have two children who want to the kids club and we couldn ‘t have asked for friendlier staff. Both of our children had a wonderful holiday and lot of that was due to there friendly approach and the fact they recognized then everywhere we went and come. The bar staff were also a credit to the hotel
Thank you for a brilliant Holiday.
a very special week was enjoyed by our party of 4.
not quite five star but very very close.
very difficult to find fault with this hotel...
entertainment was very good.... staff nothing short of excellent.
very very hard working bar and resteraunt staff..... not to mention the "behind the scenes people" who never get the credit they deserve.
a well appointed hotel on the beach... lots of swimming pools... fantastic food ... wines and beers..... (you must go all inclusive)
the entertainment staff were tireless........
i would gladly reccomend this hotel.............
we will certainly return.

Wow Wow Wow!!!!!
WOW WOW WOW!!!! What a fabulous holiday. My husband and I went for a relaxing week as we have 4 children. Relaxing was an understatement, we were so chilled, it was unbelieveable. The staff made the holiday because they were so obliging and could not do enough for you. The food, well, what a selection and it was lovely, there was nothing that we could fault at all. We found out that CHEF had worked with Gordon Ramsey for 3 months, hence the standard. Clean towels and clean bedding every day, wall to wall sunshine, pool was fantastic, liked the idea of the silence pool although some parents were ignoring the sign for NO UNDER 16's!!! Somewhat annoying really. You have to go to the Italian Restaurant if you visit this hotel, food and service was out of this world. HOLIDAY OVERALL WAS FANTASTIC AND ONE TO REMEMBER. We are going back next year with our 4 children. We cannot wait. FABULOUS

Wonderful beaches.......... and very kitschy hotels.....in the background a replica of the Red Square in Moscow - inside the "St.Basil Cathedral" there were restaurants......it felt strange swimming and looking at the "Red Square" at the same time;-)
