Hello Travelers!!
Well , I just confirmed my vacation, and I plannin to go to Antalya for the first time next week. for real I don't know much about antalya which makes it more exciting for me. my question, is that what is the best hotel in the area of antalya. Iam looking for a decent hotel close to the beach and active night life :)... also, if anyone fancy a drink there I wil be so happy to meet up.

hi my man.i understand you.i think your hotel choice must be royal vikingen resort where is in alanya.alanya is the town of antalya and 2 hours far away from antalya.the most active night life in turkey is in alanya.the hotel i told you that is very close to the disco called summer garden.it is the biggest club in alania.you will meet what you want in there...:)
there are lots many choices for antalya so what kind of hotel you wanna stay in.boutique,5 star,holiday village...
do you want to be in the city iteslf, or in one of the resorts to the east or west?
Side and alanya are to the east, lts of small resorts round kemer to the west. Alanya is a LONG way from antalya tho
You will offer excursion called MIRA-KEKOVA.you'll visit very interesting places:st.Nickolas church and rocky coffins and Amphitheater.The picture is of St.Nickolas Church.(In this church it is possible to think of desires, I once think - and have come true!)
Before getting into taxi BARGAIN. Otherwise you will be robbed. They usually charge around 1 usd for one km, but make sure you agree on price before getting in.
Taxis are like everywhere, bright yellow and quite easy to notice in the streets.
Kursunlu Waterfalls
Nice waterfalls, but we were unlucky to be there when cotton fields were irrigated( beginning October) , so I must admit we were a little disappointed ( as the falls were almost dry ).
Antalya has become a favourite vacation spot for Azerbaijanis of all income levels. That's what Antalya is about - it can accomodate almost all types of tourists from backpackers to multi-millionaires :) But most of the tourists visiting this beautiful place are Russians, Ukrainians and others from the former Soviet Union. So no wonder locals speak such good Russian and everywhere you go, there are signs in Russian language. I hear enough of Russian back in Baku and that's why would prefer Bodrum, Kusadasi, Fethiye or other resort towns of Turkey. But annual conference of Rotaract brought me to Kemer (1 hr away from Antalya) so I decided to make the most out of it!
Antalya as a city is very ancient and is considered one of the most beautiful cities of the Turkish Meditteranean. It is surrounded by the mighty Toros mountains. Known as "Attaliya" or "Attaleya" back in ancient times, Antalya was built in 2nd century b.c. by King Attalos and named after him. It is the most historical place in Turkey... there are many monuments of different epochs - from Roman amphiteatres to Selcuk towers and Ottoman minarets, Byzantine churches and arches of Roman empire, as well as ruins of ancient cities. Its history along with wonderful beaches and amazing nature make it a popular tourist destination...
