More about Papillon Belvil Holiday Village Antalya
Next Year ? ... Sure !
My wife and I with some other families spend one week in PAPILLON BELVIL for our second anniversary from 1 till 8 of September.
As you may know PAPILLON BELVIL is one of four PAPILLON hotels grouping BELEK.
The others is 1-zugma 2-aysha 3-muna
Everything was great in papillon belvil .rooms (in main building) was big and very clean and nice decorated and change and clean everyday.
The hotel and grounds and toilets are kept immaculately clean and so beautiful, as are the rooms and pool area. Each of the rooms has a safe, a/c and a mini bar, which is topped up daily
Hotel is ultra all inclusive and every time you will find something to eat or drink.
The main restaurant ASPENDOS had different type of foods and more that imagine dessert with very good taste.
Also we spend some dinner in A La Carte restaurants like Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Turkish and Fish.
Beside that you can eat SUSHI everyday between 15 and16 at Mexican restaurant or some kind of Turkish food named GUZLEME everyday between 11 till 17.
Also they have prepared ice cream, simmit and dunat time! Anything else?!!
In bars (lobby, pool, beach) you can find many kind of local and imported drinks.
Two pools are lovely and 2 second walk to the sea which is really short and clear, the water sports is awesome.
The Animation team is incredible. The highlight of the day was the nightly show in the big outdoor theatre at 9 pm.
The hotel staff speaks English and we never had any trouble being understood.
The swimming areas & water park was really excellent which offered another dimension to our holiday.
There are lots of sun beds in pool area and also in beach so you can use it easily.
I wish we spend two weeks there and for sure we will arrange for two weeks in next years.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would like to say thank you PAPILLON BELVIL to make a very great holiday to us.
Best Holiday i've ever had
We have just returned from a week at the Papillon Belvil, Turkey and I don't think i've ever felt so sad at leaving a hotel and a country. I've been to some beautiful places in the world, including Thailand, Mauritus and the Caribbean and this compares to my experiences there.
I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. The all inclusive is on a par with the Caribbean, a great selection and nothing is extra. We ate in the Italian one of the nights we were there and whilst I wouldn't call it Italian food, it was really tasty and the service was great.
The complex itself, including the beach villas, the main building, the pools and the beach were all spotlessly clean and beautiful. Our room was extremely spacious with 1 double bed and 1 single, all very modern and a great power shower.
The 'planimation' guys worked really hard to provide entertainment throughout the day and evening, including plenty of fun for kids...not that any of us had any but the place wasn't over run with them.
There were not many English people there when we stayed, which I would guess is probably the norm. It was mainly Russians and a few Germans. The disco on the first couple of nights seemed to cater purely for them but we English rallied together and got them to put a good mix of music on rather than banging house music for the entire night. Highly amusing watching the Russian dance moves though and even better their dress sense!!
We did however, meet some great English couples and are all planning on going back again next year. This is a testiment in iteself as to how good the resort is as i've never visited anywhere twice.
We didn't venture off site but some of the English guys we met did regularly, apparently there are great golf clubs around in the area and the town itself is good for haggling and grabbing yourself a bargain. I believe the little bus is approx 1-2 Euros.
1 thing to bear in mind is that the hotel is not within walking distance of supermarkets etc so if you smoke and want to take advantage of cheap cigarettes, stop off on the way to the hotel as the onsite shop prices are quite steep.
All in all, a great place to stay and i'd highly recommened to people of all ages.

Papillon Belvil / Compliment
After my whole famıly decıded that Turkey was where we wanted to go we selected the Papıllon Belvıl based on the travel agents brochure and websıte ınformatıon. Our fırst vısıt to the Papıllon Belvıl hotel was ın 2006 & we had sımply the best holıday of our lıves & ımmedıately booked agaın for 2007. The hotel complex ıs extremely well laıd out & fırst ımpressıons was one of qualıty wıth refreshıng surroundıngs and well organısed. We have now stayed ın both the maın hotel complex and ın one of the vıllas, whıch where both tastefully decorated, aır condıtıoned & spotlessly clean. The eatıng facılıtıes, food varıatıon, presentatıon & selectıon ıs outstandıng and really catered for all our famıly needs. The optıon for bookıng an evenıng meal away from the maın resturant for Chınese, Italıan or Mexıcan ıs also a really nıce touch & managed to maıntaın the hıgh standards of the maın eatıng area. The Staff ın general appeared very motıvated to enhance our holıday experıence by gıvıng the best servıce they can ALWAYS and must be complemented. The sports facılıtıes and mını compatıtıons are very good, well organısed but above all great fun for the famıly. The club dance concept & group ınvolment really helps to gel people of dıfferent cultures & countrıes together. The swımmıng areas & water park are really excellent whıch offered another dımensıon to our holıday. Evenıng Entertaınment For our famıly to vısıt any holıday destınatıon for a second or thırd tıme then somethıng specıal must have taken place. Beach & foam partıes, on stage clıent competıtıons & lıve musıc all contrıbute to thıs great experıence. The venue for the evenıngs entertaınment ıs excellent, the bar locatıon, table servıce (ıf requıred), qualıty of drınks etc, all help to maıntaın that specıal experıence. However, the one thıng that sets the ce touch & managed to maıntaın the hıgh standards of the maın eatıng area. The Staff ın general appeared very motıvated to enhance our holıday experıence by gıvıng the best servıce they can ALWAYS and must be complemented. However, the one thıng that sets the Papıllon Belvıl apart from any other holıday we have ever had ıs the qualıty & varıatıon of the evenıng shows. They are vıbrant, excıtıng, funny packed wıth energy all that we ın the UK would expect from a London West End show but ın Turkey. The lıghtıng, sound, specıal effects, costumes, theme artwork, dance content & varıatıon ıs sımply out of thıs world. The annımatıon team as they are know are the same guys who put on these fantastıc shows so you engage wıth them on stage ınstently. Once we catch our breath we then relax ın the bar area before goıng down to the dısco whıch agaın ıs sımply perfect. We have two boys aged 20 & 18 who over the last two years have sımply had the best summer holıdays of theır young lıves. The only thıng that we as a famıly were unhappy about ıs that we dıd not dıscover the Papıllon resort hotels sooner than 2006. Thank you & your team from a very satısfıed customer. The bıggest complıment I can gıve you ıs our repeat busıness.
excellent value for money
We a Familly of 4 have just returned from a 2 week stay at the Papillion Belvil.
We arrived at 1.00am and was shown to our room a bungalow room On first impression we were disappointed the room was quite small but clean.
Rooms not as nice as Main Hotel which are larger and better furnished, but better Air Condition makes up for this which believe me you need.
In the morning we checked our all inclusive paperwork it showed we had only been booked for 8 Days not 14. so we went up to reception who would not help tough had to leave on Day 8. They then said I had to ring here there & everywhere & trail around the sight looking for our agent But we had booked direct. After 2 hours i burst into tears Thinking of myself, husband & children sitting at the airport for 6 days. Within 5 mins the manager director appeared & 5 mins later sorted there error out but no apologise, & £12.00 phone bill
After our bad start we had a wonderful holiday and met some smashing English famlies.
The resort was lovely, no larger louts no kids running about after 12.00 pm well set out clean, rooms cleaned everyday bed linen was changed every other day.
Food in all resturants was excellent and no queing even made special food for my fussy daughter.
Pool cleaned everyday & Lifequard on duty the one at Aqua Pool was brill with the kids he even went on the slides with my daughter who wants to return next year to see him.
Entertainment was excellent & the staff work very long hours & are brill.
The few grids i did have though were -
Bar staff at Large pool bar a bit rude & would serve Germans, Russians or even men before me.
Shopping centre on site was very expensive £2.50 for toothpaste and sweets were £3.00 a packet which only cost 19p in England in end took taxi to Kadriye.
(Doctors) both my children caught ear infections went to the onsite doctor he wanted 50 euros each to look in the children's ear, then would perscribe Antibiotics whice would cost around 50 Euros more did not bother went in taxi to Kadriye chemist & bought them at a chemist for £30.00.
Also needed a dressing for my son wanted another 50 Euros before he would dress it at 10 Euro and crutches 5 Euros a day .
We would recommend you take Euros or New sterling notes not lira don't listen to the Reps at the Foreign Exchange.
Take Ear Antibioctics you never know.
Taxi from Airport to Belvil 4 People with suiltcases set price 50 Euros
Taxi to Kadriye center 12 Euros return pay on return trip.
(International Drinks) unlimmited whisk, Rum, Vodka, Cocktails, Beer, Wine, Pepsi, 7Up, Fanta ,etc are all included in the All Inclusive not like other Resorts.
(Dougnuts at 4.00 PM) topped with chocolate are out of this world as many as you want beware watch your weight.
(Ice Cream at 2.00) as above.
(Pan Cakes at 11.00 - 4.00) as above.
(Towels on sunbeds reserve before 8.00 !!!!!!!!)
PS Would recommend this hotel
The Best Holiday Ever!
We have just returned from a two-week holiday at this hotel. It was fantastic! The hotel and grounds are kept immaculately clean, as are the rooms and pool area. Each of the rooms has a safe, a/c and a mini bar, which is topped up daily. There are even beach towels provided. The food was excellent and plentiful and even 2 fairly fussy children were happy at meal times and with cake and doughnuts available as snacks during the day they never said they were hungry. The activities available are numerous and too many to mention and all good fun thanks to the many happy animation staff (Keep smiling Efe) and holding it all together were the Head and Assistant head of Animation who were also very talented in the languages department. The kid’s club staff were wonderful as well, especially Memo and Tugba and Gloria with football, kids shows, T-Shirt painting and the mini disco.
The highlight of the day was the nightly show in the big outdoor theatre. The dancers were fantastic and the choreographer, Abdullah, worked so hard to provide really memorable shows, Notre Dame and Ghosts were fantastic. There were also sketch shows, which were usually very amusing.
There is also a spa on site which is just wonderful.
This holiday was so good, it would be difficult to improve on it! We will definitely be going back again!!
Best Relaxing Holiday Ever
Wow sums it all up! Our family have just spent the best two weeks of our life there. Everyone was so attentive to your every need. Food as excellent.
Welcome staff especially Feliz , who made our anniversary so special with champagne and fruit in our room and a special cake in the Italian resturant, all at no extra cost as their gift to us. Where else in the world would you be treated so well. They all remember your name such attention to small details made this holiday so special.
I would like to say a spcial hello to all of the great new friends we meet, we hope to see you again next year, A Great thank you to all of the staff for making everything so wonderful. A special thanks to the dance chirographer, who always stood back at the credits, yet worked so hard to create all the dance evenings. Well done, you deserve to be on the UK west end stage! but we want to see such good shows again next year.
Like everyone before us that has givin such rav reviews, all I can say is the same.
So points to anyone going there:
1 . Take Euros not Lire, everthing is priced in Euros
2. Don't book a spa massage in the hotel, wait until thier lady askes you round the pool or beach, you can then neg a deal and make a saving.
3. Do go for a peeling and massage within the first few days of your holiday. Massage is toe to head... fantastic.
4. Dont take towels, they have large beach towels there for you.
5. Hotel rooms cost more, but are larger.
6. Do Notby anything in Hotel shop, go to Kadria or belek by taxi, it will still work out cheaper.
Best Holiday and Hotel Ever
We have just returned from a two week stay at this hotel and it was the most fantastic time we have ever had. We stayed in one of the bungalows which was really nice, the room and the mini bar were done on a daily basis. The whole place was spotless. My son also had the time of his life here and this was all down to the excellent mini club team (Memo,Ezgi,Derya,Ibrahim,Gamze and Tugba) he didnt want to go home. The food is amazing and there are also 5 a la carte restaurants aswell as the main restaurant, you will need to queue early in the morning to book these but they are well worth waiting for. The shows that are on every evening are magnificent especially Lord of the Dance, Ghosts and Notre Dame, the team all work very hard to make them so special. The hotel staff speak english and we never had any trouble being understood, they were also very friendly and helpful. We also met some lovely families (Julie, Scott, Matt, and Will) and (Dave, Ruth and Lois).Overall this has been the best holiday we have ever had, would certainly recommend and we will definately go back.

Don't go with cosmos!!!!!!
Got there early hours of the morning. NO REP to meet us and show us to our room. Booked room to accommadate 4 people (3 adults and a child), instead got a room that accommadates 3 Step-son has special needs and needs to near ALL amemities. Argued with reception ALL morning. finally got room change at 7.00am!!!. Weather was hot, which I like. ASPENDOS resturant is better than the other resturants as it has different theme nights If you like "A la cart" resturant you have to book it at 9.30am that morning for the evening, if you are veggie, forget it, there is nothing for you. Entertainment is very good at night and you can join in the various activities during the day, if you want to. We booked through COSMOS holidays. The rep is a much use as a chocolate fire-guard. If you plan to go on any excursions, go to the local town to book them as they are alot cheaper than going through cosmos and the coach turns up on time too.!!!
Watch out for the RUSSIANS, FRENCH and GERMANS, they take over the place. They have no manners and they think they own the place.
When they say check-out is "noon" they mean "noon", you can argue with them. All I can say is good luck. The only way you can get them to change their minds is if you are related to the manager.
Apart from ALL the above, we had a good time made friends with the enterainment staff. Made friends with other ENGLISH families and at times we made our own entertainment.
This was our fiorst time to Turkey and it has put us in two minds whether to go there again due to the experience we have had. Not only arriving, staying, but leaving aswell.
All I can say is "You pays your money, you takes the chance"
The Russians aren't coming....they're all in Turkey!
Its taken a while for me to get around to writing this but having read the recent reviews we felt compelled to do so. We booked this hotel late on due to a hotel problem at our original destination of egypt, having stumped up an extra £500 I was hoping for a nice relaxing holiday. On the whole I have to say that is exactly what we got, we read the reviews on here before we left and it was top marks all round....however - there seems to be a common thread running through some of the less favourable ones and that is the non-british hotel guests shall we say!
We found the Russians (and those generally from former soviet states - ukraine etc. ) to be extremely rude. Now I am not talking about a bit of queue jumping, just full on cringeworthy and uneccesarry abruptness - mainly with the bar staff. None of them use please or thank you in any language and basically act like the staff are their personal servants. This unsurprisingly; has the effect of making all the bar staff a little apathetic towards serving as they get paid peanuts and spoken to like third class citizens by the majority of the guests. As a family who regularly holiday in Majorca - it was a nice change to see that it was the British families that were actually the most polite and curteous of all the guests!! The complex itself we found to be clean, quiet and very relaxing although it does prove no matter how much you pay....you still have to get up early for a sunbed! The food was particularly good in the A la' Carte so give them a try.
Overall we had a good holiday and found the bungalows to be more than adequate for our needs, our 11 year old daughter did however find it difficult to make many friends due to the lack of British children which was a bit of a shame. We did meet some lovely people on holiday including Billy, Diane and Jordan which does help. My advice to anyone going is to make the most of the activities on offer, play the game when it comes to sunbed and restaurant booking and you will enjoy it....oh yeah - and teach your kids russian. !!
Not our favourite
Arrived in Antalya (4th time here) and had to wait in the car park for over an hour until a coach turned up (no rep around) where were Cosmos! Arrived at the hotel filled in the necessary forms only to be told that our rooms were not ready (at 4.30 in the morning). Eventually given two rooms miles apart - not happy - but took the rooms and went to bed only to be woken up 1 hour later to be told our rooms were now ready - a few hours later went to reception to check into the rooms that were ready and next door to each other as stipulated and then told 'no the rooms were not ready' saw red at this and to cut a long story short were given two lovely adjacent rooms in the hotel. Food was fantastic but the large restaurant was a bit like eating in a Sainsburys shopping isle on a Saturday morning - not relaxing to say the least. Pool was ok but mostly too deep for children the sea was lovely and warm but something in it bit both my daughter and husband (who is still on antibiotics to clear it up). Went on two trips - one to Aspendos which was fantastic and the other for a boat trip from Kemer which was very scenic but the coach turned up late and then took 2-3 hours to get there and 2-3 hours back - the Turkish rep Adan(?) was very good - the boat sailed into 3 bays and the colour and the warmth of the water..... - how I wish I was back there. Anyway back to the Hotel - the downstairs by the shops we felt was very dingy - but apart from a few niggles we had a lovely holiday but would not go back to this particular hotel - we prefer further west of Turkey with more spectacular scenery. Would agree with most people that the other nationalities were rude but that never changes whatever hotel you go to. Would recommend shopping for jeans in Kadirye (not sure how its spelt) but beware some taxi drivers agree a price wait until you are miles away from the hotel then change the price - you have no choice you have to go with it. However do not let this put you off Turkey it is a wonderful place, wonderful weather and great food.
