Central and quiet
This pension located in an old refurbished building lies in the very centre of Kaleici, the old town of Antalya. It offers basic rooms with air conditioned, toilet OK with shower that flows directly on the floor.
Very nice open air public space, where you get breakfast and meals, or just sit to socialize.
The owners are friendly and helpful.

There must be better alternatives for backpackers
Not the cleanest, and I've been in some grotty places in my travels. Most of all, far from honest. They say there isn't a shuttle to the airport, so you'd better use their driver for 25 TL. I asked around. There is indeed an airport shuttle.
--- Leave Kaliechi by the Clock Tower, following the tram line with the park on your left. When you're opposite the Selekler Center (grey, modern shopping center), there's a tram stop and kiosk. A little further on is a pull-over near a round fountain. the Havas bus leaves for the airport on the hour and for 10 TL.
For backpackers, there is only one 3-bed dorm. I don't know why Lonely Planet touts this place. I wasn't the only one who couldn't wait to leave.
