We are booked for 7 nights All Inclsive @ the Sirene Hotel 21st September. Anyone been there any tips to offer, whta to avoid etc
Also am playing golf at the Pasha, Sultan & National courses anyone know what they are like?
I stayed at the Serin Hotel in Marmasis, in 2001, not sure if it's the same hotel?
If it is, it was a nice, friendly hotel, and in general I found the turkish people really welcoming.
One thing I didn't like about Turkey was the large number of stray dogs, I love dogs and ended up nearly causing a big dog-fight when I bought some dog food to distribute!
The dogs slept in the verges, like wild animals!
Fantastic weather (I did go in July though) but I'm Sepetember will be great too.
Great for shopping, everything open until midnight.
The biggest outside bar&restaurant . Open 24 hours. Drinks all day&night long. Good alcoholic and non-alchoolic cocktails. The only place where you can eat pizza at lunch (and there were many people ordering pizza...but not us :)) Lovely place to enjoy evenings and late nights. Late buffet served at midnight. Ice cream, peanuts and local treats.
