Best holiday ever!

Came here not sure what to expect, having not been to any part of Turkey before, but will definitely be back! The food was superb, our room was spacious and clean, with a beautiful view of the bay, and we thoroughly enjoyed the entertainments put on each night by the "animation" team. Basically, the week involved rolling out of our lovely room in the morning, either laying beside the pool or enjoying some of the activities you can either do in or around the resort, then some lovely lunch at the buffet before getting some serious relaxation in the afternoon! Never a problem getting space by the pool, and lovely to try the a la carte restaurants in the evenings with a few cold ones to wash it down! A+ all round.

We had a superb week at the Arcadia. It offers the perfect balance between play and pampering and was just the tonic after a busy few weeks at work.
The wife was able to relax, unwind and catch up on her reading by the pool while I was able to wield my trusty seven iron on a fine golf course and play tennis with the sun on my back with an English member of staff while my colleagues back home complained of rain stopping play.
In the evenings we dined like kings and the staff were friendly and amenable to our needs ( I have a food allergy).
Although the flight times are far from ideal, it was worth the inconvenience and we will certainly be back at some point inthe future.
Will go again and again!

This hotel is one of the best I've stayed in. We wanted a holiday where we could completely relax for a few days and just enjoy good food, warm weather and good beach facilities. The Arcadia ticked all the boxes, and more! The weather was perfect, the beach is a few yards stroll from the hotel and is lovely and clean. There is plenty to do in the water if you like watersports, but if you just want to relax like we did you are left alone to enjoy the experience and swim in the warm, clean sea to your hearts content. Our room was brilliant and the staff are efficient and discreet, with clean towels and bed linen every day and lots of goodies in the fridge and bathroom. I think one of the best things about the hotel is the food. It is delicious and the choice is amazing, and available almost 24 hours a day. All in all a fantastic holiday destination and we are looking forward to our next visit to catch up with the friendly staff who became our friends.
THE ARCADIA REVISITED.

I have recently returned from a stay in the Arcadia and wanted to post a favourable review for anyone considering going.I have stayed there twice in 12 months as I am a golfer and the courses round Belek are superb-especially the new Faldo course which is just down the road from the hotel- and have also stayed in other,more modern hotels around Belek.
My first impression was a bit of a hotch potch of a hotel, but strangely, with an Italian charm;entirely down to the archtecture.I found the hotel very clean and the staff efficient and friendly.The food-like all self-service,mass catering can be repetitive but of good quality.A small cover charge got me some nice meals in the Italian and Chinese restaurants on the site.
I was told that people enjoyed the shows put on in the evening ,but I only went to one as the need to translate from German to English to Russian became a little tedious.The show I saw was a series of comedy sketches so perhaps one of the musical shows would be better.
The swimming pools and surrounding areas were always kept clean and tidy and the animation teams were never pushy whilst trying to persuade me to leave my towel for some activity or other.
The newer hotels are probably better appointed on size of rooms and furnishing but I feel that the atmosphere more than compensates-on reflection I felt this more on the second visit so I guess the place grew on me.

Excellent! We were for the second time in Arcadia and we come back! Special the guest-relation team. Thanks for everything! We see you again. The first time (sept.2006)we were without our children and the second time with our boys. We enjoyed both times very-very MUCH! Greatings from Ron & Anja from Holland.
Something for everyone

A gem of a family resort featuring excellent service, great food, and superb all round entertainment!
Four teenagers from 13-17 relaxed in a great resort!
Golf early morning is a challenge in the heat, but with off peak rates and excellent choice of top quality venues its worth the sweat!
All staff very focussed on service from guest relations though to the very professional Entertainment Team!
We will definatly return! well done Arcadia.

I have just returned home with my family from Hotel Arcadia, what a fantastic holiday, from the moment we arrived we felt at home, great food, our room was a family room with 2 balconies which overlooked trees and the football pitch, during our stay we watched the entertainment every night which was so professional, the animation team are a credit to your hotel, they are so friendly, we also enjoyed GALA night which was an experience and so much effort had been put into it by your staff inc great fireworks, our children learnt to swim in the fantastic swimming pools which were never over crowded. This was the first time we had visited Turkey and we will definately be returning at some point. Once again Thank you so much.
Top class Hotel

Having returned from Arcadia I feel compelled to post a review to help others discover this gem of a hotel in Turkey.
We spent 2 weeks there with a party of 8 which included children aged from 15 to 10. The facilities are all first class, with various pools, the sea on your doorstep, ample sun beds and umbrella's (even in peak season) and entertainment all day long if you wanted it.
Every member of staff cared about the hotel and it's guests and insured everything was always perfect.
They mix of guests was mostly Russian, German and English and this was never a problem.
If you liked Golf, your minutes away from numerous first class courses.
Belek town is a tourist town only and therefore the shops are expensive and pushy. So if you really want quality shopping you will have to travel into Antalya or Side.
Jamie the Guest relations manager was first class and was always on hand if needed and the choice of restaurants was nice to have.
Overall this is the best Summer Sun holiday hotel I have stayed in and would recommend it to anyone looking for a first class relaxing holiday with kids.

Terrible Do Not go There Ever

We stayed at this hotel with the whole family (including 2 years old daughter) at the end of July. It was the most terrible experinces I've ever had. This hotel needs some serious refurbishment. Food is awful, no change in the menu whatsoever. Before going to Turkey I was afraid of gaining weight but in fact with this hotel I've lost it. Animation is gross.If you by any chance go there which I strongly do not recommend try to stay in the Main Building. Other buildings stink, wet and have some constant noise of cicadas. Staff at the reception is useless never help and do not solve any problems. I will never ever go there again and will not recommend it to anyone.

hi going to arcadia golf resort with 15 year old daughter and 10 year old son end of may begining of june has anyone stayed at this hotel, that can let me know what it is like. not sure if everything like the restuarants are open that time. are there any excursions from there so not to book through travel rep as that is always overpriced

Hi Lorraine,
I know Arcadia Golf Resort. It is a very good hotel, a little expensive though. The restaurants will be open and the service in the low season is exactly the same as the service in the high season. Also since you will go in late May, the weather will be nice and outdoor pools will be in service as well.
And regarding the excursions. I think you can find a good deal and do not need to book from now through travel reps.
