Antalya (population 2 million), "capital" of the Turkish Mediterranean Coast, is a sprawling modern city with a small, charming historic center, a good archeology museum, long sunny beaches to east and west, the Turquoise Coast's busiest airport, good hotels, lots to see and do, and dramatic sea and mountain views (map).
The historic center, called Kaleiçi (Kah-leh-ee-chee, Old Antalya) surrounds the Roman harbor. Many buildings here date from Ottoman times, a few from Roman times, and some have been restored as houses, boutique hotels, pensions and restaurants.
Antalya's prime beach is Konyaaltı Plajı, a l-o-n-g swath of rough sand and pebbles running west for several kilometers.
The sand is somewhat softer along Lara Plajı to the east. Other beaches are farther afield at Side and Alanya to the east, or Kemer, Phaselis and Olimpos to the south.
Visit Antalya for Kaleiçi, the museum and beaches, and because it's the transportation hub of the region with a big, modern airport 10 km (6 miles) east of the city center, and a big, modern bus terminal (Otogar) 4 km (2.5 miles) north. Here's more on how to get to Antalya, and how to get around.
Antalya is also a good base for day-trips to nearby archeological sites such as Aspendos, Olimpos, Perge, Phaselis, Selge, Side and Termessos (map), and even river rafting in Köprülü Kanyon National Park. More...
This place name is Oasis Resort. You can feel good in here. Warm and nice ambiance. There are 2 pools, theatre area, 1 big 2 small restourants, beach... Food is really nice here. I can Advice here. But generall a bad statu in Alanya, sea side is not all sand.Stones is little bad for enter to sea.
I definitely recommend staying in Dedeman Hotel. We enjoyed our stay especially during the new year's eve where they organised a party for us! We did manage to get reasonable, "local" rate...as one of my friends lives in Antalya...even so, dedeman is not as expensive as some hotels in the area such as Sheraton.
Great service, good amenities, massive rooms and great view as well!
Peace and quiteness, wonderful sea, wonderful day and night sea view, fresh air, very hospitable personnel
Wonderful 3 star hotel with the best view in Turkey:)) very peaceful place, with very kind and nice personnel, the barbeque at nights is very delicious...
Su means water. The hotel itself tries to be hip and chic and I think they partly succeeded. Hillside mainly caters to the upper crust of Turkish society and high flying foreigners so this hotel reflects the price of the polulation it targets. Still, in my personal opinion, their service does not equal 5-star hotels in Asia where service is almost always impeccable. First I was not happy with my room since I booked for a poolview/seaview room. I finally got it on the second night but I had to follow up several times to make sure this happened. I balk at the high season price but the location on Konyaalti Beach is good and the overall amenities (pool, beach bar ) are nice. The food is OK and the buffet breakfast at the red restaurant offered many healthy alternatives. The beach itself is not a sandy beach but a pebble beach. There beach club area is exclusive to hotel guests and so is the jetty where one can practice diving off of. The beach watersports center is conveniently located next door to the beach club. Security wise, it was commendable that only guests could enter the gates from the public walkway near the beach to the hotel at any time. The general area offered many other restaurant choices for every budget. If one came with children, there are also choices for their amusment nearby. I wouldn't rave about the total service at Hillside Su but the pool staff and gym staff were excellent. The in-house DJ is really cool. One thing I am not so happy about is the close proximity to the waterpark. It is right next door to Hillside Su. We at the pool could hear the cheesy pop music blasting via the waterpark's speakers. Luckily, they close every day at 7 pm. I would still recommend the hotel to discerning travelers.
The rooms are simply decorated the main theme being white with overwhelming use of mirrors. The terry covered double bed on the patio is a nice touch. Cocktails are sipped and tanned bodies abound there just past sunset. The spa offered many cures and pampering opportunities but I skipped them. The gym has decent machines and a good floor space for doing my yoga and Pilates. Cold water was readily available. I don't know if chillout music is your preference but I just love it that they play it nonstop in the beach club and the pool area. The weather-proof speakers (the ones in the pool are waterproof so they make sure your underwater experience is equally pleasant)allow for relaxing cool music just about 24/7. The pool area is minimalist with wood and tile details. All the lounge chairs and cushions are freshly dressed in white terry every morning on order by each guest. The towels are plush and good sized. The 24-hour lobby bar is a nice touch. Akdeniz (Mediterranen Sea) can be seen from the hotel.
Cirali has a wide choice of pansyon, and unless you are arriving on a weekend in high summer you can always find a bed. The B&Bs are all hidden in the orange trees, just pick the one that appeals to you! Some are closer to the village centre, others are tucked away.
Hope you don't mind being woken by the sound of a cockerel crowing right outside your window!
Best bet is to stroll up and ask to see the rooms. Prices do not vary so much, although those with a/c charge more.
Breakfasts are always fresh and delicious, using tomatoes fresh from the vine and fresh free range eggs. You may even get home churned butter and cheese!
My personal favourite is Moonlight Pansyon , run by Cemil and his lovely family. I look forward to my repeat visit all year, every year! (mind you I have been a regular for ten years now)
Comfort and hospitality, throughout the village!
It is the best hotel of Corinthia Group in Turkey.
It is a 5 star hotel with a huge forest of pine trees, orange and banana trees scattered in places..
The rooms are more spacious in the garden side and more quiet comparing to the hotel side..
The blue-flagged private beach is sandy and beautiful. It has 2 olympic pools with nice snack bars..
The disco at he beach is very famous among picky people of Istanbul
The hotel has around 800 beds ,with %100 full capacity in the high season..
The average customer profile is;mostly western european and Russian along with upper mid class of Turkey..
It is 3km away from my favourite ancient place-Phaselis...
This hotel is run by Alarko group and has the same standart upscale service and comfort among with other Hillside hotels, villages and sport complex...
It has a distinct quality in indoor facilities, you can have a quality time even without stepping out from the hotel..
The building is very ordinary when you look from outside in the daytime..
But in the night ,the color of the hotel changes completely in every 3 minutes thanks to the light games..
The rooms are very chic, the restaurants and the fitness center is very good and the pool is superb:
It is located in the heart of new trendy Beachpark at Konyaalti Beach.
The roof bar has a nice view, the bar at the beach is truly magnificent..
