Hi there, I am new here. I am plannig a trip to Kas and some other cities in Turkey. I already found some very helpful hints on this page here and startet to plan my trip.
Now I am searching for information about some other sights, restaurants etc. ,which were not mentioned here yet.
Perhaps someone could tell me the adresses, if they are good or not and some things. I am not sure if I would miss something if I would not go there :-)

I have been in kas several times,but did not remember the names of the restaurants at all.I would say,most of the places in the town are qualified and nice.The sea is so lovely during the summer time,you can also make a nice tour around the region and visit '' Demre church,Myra (a unique historical place),Kalkan (the name of the town) '' if you wish. There some diving schools in Kas,you can select to go one of the them if you are interested in diving.

Kas is my favorite town in Mediterranean and often go there for some water sports and outdoor activities.I do not know the places you mentioned but here are my favorites:

Hello. I cannot help you with restaurants but as for shopping there are 5 supermarkets here: Muhtar, Migros, Bim, 101 and Gempa. You you visit them all you will do shopping at the best price. Also there is bazaar on Fridays. The best choice of fruits and vegetables is here. As for beaches there are at least 3 of them in Kas. Plus a lot of piers. I love them all.
Just in front of Kas bay there is a greek island.. So close to Kas.. You can even reach there by swimming but dont ever try..
There are regular boat services that are travelling between the Islands.. Please care for the patrol boats..
Just see how the distance between the island and the land from the picture..
if you go a small way from the road to Antalya above the mountain, you will have a wonderful view over the bay to the island of Meis. On the top of the mountain you can go a few meters and can meet a few people with theyr sheeps . . .
But take water and something for eating with you, there is no possibility to buy anything . . .
If you don't fancy spending all day on a boat and have a car,there are also bus tours i'm sure,then drive to Ucagiz and get a boat from there.Only problem is the parking which can get a bit crazy in the village when it's busy.Other than that there are several reasonable places to have lunch in the village where the tourist boats don't use.There is also a small castle perched on top of the hill at Kale or Simena as it was called before.The site has finds dating back to the 4th century B.C. but the castle is Medieval.
Saklikent, which literally means "hidden city", is an amazing canyon about 60 km from Kas. You can go there by hourly minibuses. It is a great destination for rafting and canoeing. You can walk through the canyon or do some rock climbing in Saklikent.
About 5 minutes out of Kalkan town,this is a popular sandy beach.
If you're driving then park on the roadside but most people arrive by dolmus or minibus.
From Kas leave from the koop minibus stop in the Otogar (bus station).
Lots of stairs down to the beach and of course back up.
At the bottom of the stairs you can hire an umbrella but i recommend you take your own drinks.
To get back just wait on the road for the next dolmus or minibus.
As you can see by the broken stairs and rocks,it is not the place to be when the stream is in flood.
