Apollo temple
I am thinking os staying the month of January at Kaya hotel.Can anyone give me info on what weather will be like in January and any info on the hotel or even the Arcadia in Belek.This would be my first trip to Turkey so any other info on this region could also help me decide.
the weather can be both very sunny and pretty cold that time a year.
its quite unpredictable in january.
i once studied there over a winter and one week i would be swimming in the ocean and next week wearing a heavy coat, so it kinda depends on your luck.

thanks ,, that was helpfull ,, much as I expected ,, I might just gamble and go for the month.The hotels I am looking at are All Inclusive deals , so food and drink will be Ok on the cold wet days
A ruined Hellenistic port and one-time trysting place of Antony and Cleopatra. Side meant Pomegranete in the local language- which was the symbol used on the coins of Side. Side lost its prominence in the 4th Century AD. with earthquakes, Christian zealots and Arab raids, by the 10Century AD, the site was completely abandoned, left to be buried. Today its history, sandy beaches and lively town area with its many shops and bars are a magnet for the tourists. Its a great holiday destination.
