ASPENDOS - the historical bridge... by belgianchocolate
This 225 meters long bridge attracts a lot of tourists. You know what the consequences are of that. A lot of souvenir shops as well...The bridge is 4,5 till 5,7 meters wide and was build by an Anatolian emperor at the beginning of the 13th century. This emperor used old roman remains for this.
The bridge got restored in 1996-98...and they did this so good that the thing looks new.
