The BridgeSIDE - The byzantium hospital
Built in the 6th century they don't know exactly what it was. It consisted of five residences whos tops where vaulted.
It is obviously not a dwelling or a religious building.
It could have been a guesthouse and used as an hospital. This was common in the Byzantine era.
What they do know is that during the 6th century emperor Justinianus had an hospital build in the Pamphylia region.
As Side then was the center of the Bishopry it is quit possible that these are the remains of that building.
