Onur Pansiyon: Perfectly located Pansiyon
The Onur Pansiyon is a stone-built Turkish house with seven rooms and is a great place to stay for anyone who wants to be in the pedestrianised area of Side town rather than in one of the large out-of-town resort hotels which spread out along the western beach. Accommodation is basic here, as is usual for pansiyons, but the owner Onur is friendly and welcoming and puts together a decent Turkish breakfast in the morning including freshly cooked eggs. There’s also quite a collection of resident cats roaming around to keep you entertained during breakfast. Rooms have air-conditioning and wi-fi is available though we found the signal is best in the breakfast area.
Perfectly located for sightseeing - nearly all of the Roman ruins are very nearby and the east beach is just a short walk away.

Seven Seas Imperial: All-Inclusive Resort
This hotel was great. From check-in to check-out. Staff were great, good location, right at the beach, amenities were good. We went 1-week before season started so not a lot for kids to do, besides staying at the pool all day 9not complaining). I would recommend it, since it is great value for money.
Swimming pool was great, hotel was right at the beach. Very environmentally friendly.

The Cats Garden: Large studio hotel
Large complex of studios - a decent bar and regular entertainment including belly dancing, games night, dancers.
The hotel has it own vegetable garden and used it's own produce in the restaurant.
The staff are very friendly.

Paloma Perissia Side Turkey: Perfect Perissia
Just returned after one week at the "Perissia" Hotel Side Turkey, wish it had been longer!
First time to Turkey and all inclusive, would definetely recommend to anybody thinking of this type of holiday albeit we were sceptical.
From the moment we arrived at reception, the staff could not have been more helpful, attentative and friendly. If anything it got better!
The room was spacious and clean. Restaurants and bars, what do you say, out of this world even for one of us who is extremely fussy about food! There was something available all the time for any dietary requirements. Staff and restaurants and bars were always attentive and could not do enough for you.
The hotel has several large swimming pools plus a kids area, as well as a private beach area with bar. Gardens and surroundings were kept immaculate at all times.
Activities, there was always something to do, "The Animation Team" went out of their way to entertain you not just in the evening but during the day with events such as water volleyball, water aerobics, yoga, gymnastics and belly dancing classes! All were available if you required but you were not forced to join in.
Evening - they really excelled with their live shows, we do not normally indulge in events like this however, we were pleasantly surprised that to the extent that after the first few days we found ourselves looking forward to the daily show. We cannot praise them enough for their efforts.
We did not venture too far from the hotel but did go into Side a couple of times which is a must for all historians as well as visiting the nearby market which is held on a Monday and Thursday.
There is a health centre where you can have various treatments as well as the traditional Turkish Bath - a must for all as well as the body peel and massage(the body peel costs a bit extra - the Turkish Bath is free). There is also a sauna .
Facilities, room cleanliness, attentive staff, - everything

The guy from the stuff cooked a testi kebab for 45 ytl with drinks!!! Of course he didnt even mention for how much it will be before he offered to prepare a meal a day before..

Kahya Otel, Alanya near Side: Good middle range hotel
We stayed in this hotel for two weeks on a package deal. We had half-board.
The rooms were comfortable and clean, the food was very plentiful and even after two weeks we were not tired of the range.
The pool is great, with a couple of water slides for kids.
The bar is friendly.
Hotel staff helpful.
Close to the beach (100m)
Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby

Nova Beach Hotel: Bungalows between Orange and Lemon trees
Our accommodation was a rather basic bungalow with a double and a normal bed in an ensemble of about 70 bungalows of the same type, separated from the beach only by the terrace restaurant.
The "last minute" package we bought was the bungalow with breakfast and dinner (both really great!) for 7 days plus the flight from Munich to Antalya and all together was only 298 Euro per person!

Pettino Otel: Lonely Planet Hotels
Pettino is one of many good places in the Lonely Planet Guide. Like many pensions some rooms have AC others just fans. Hot water is solar and I have even taken hot showers at midnight. With solar water heaters it often takes a long time for the hot water to reach your individual shower head. There are a lot of cheap places, you can bargain but, hey the owners have to make a living and they are very reasonable to begin with. Many places are available in old town because the big all inclusive hotels are attracting all the big tour groups and others.
Kitchen and garden, even laundry - self service is available. If you are shopping around ask about those things. Also NOISE some places can be very noisy - garbage and delivery trucks at 7 am. Loud disco music all night . Pettino is quiet, there are also others even more secluded. Prostitution is legal here and some of the small hotels and pensions double as brothels. Ask a local if you're interested in that type of action.

Tropic hotel: Side is great
Close 2 the beach. Friendly staff. But 2 many children 4 my tast. Are you going whit children I really recommend this hotel but if your not maybe you should think about it once more. The travelers staing here are familys whit smal children(and they can be active!)
Tropic hotel has a smal bubbel pool outside in the garden. It´s close to shops and they have their own restaurant whit shows once a week. The hotel is right by the beach but it gets busy in the day time.

Ilhan Apartments.: Small and friendly.
A small friendly family run apartment located in the heart of Side. Just a few steps away from the beach, shops and restaurants.
The owners. Me and my friend were treated like a part of the family!
