Wonderful Aspendos
The three childern (tired) and Catherine on the top level of the amphitheatre.
We visited Aspendos as part of a daytrip from Side
First, we stopped at a boring waterfall, next for lunch in a terrible expensive restautant where we only had some water and coke and for the rest played in the water.
The third stop was in a commercial jewelry (I hate these stops) but finally we arrived at my destination Aspendos
(Aspendos is known for his best-preserved theater of antiquity with seating for 15.000. Still used today, the theater's galleries, stage decorations and acoustics all testify to the architects success. Nearby stand the remains of a basilica, agora and one of the largest aqueducts in Anatolia.)
