In the country side Islam and religion is far more cemented in the daily life as it appeared to me in the larger cities in Turkey. Hence every village has got its own mosque though that the Turkish state strictly controls that religion and state are separated also in the rural areas. The mosques are all open, and also foreigners are welcome to enter by removing ones shoes
