Accomodations at Egeria Beach Club

I stayed with my wife at Egeria Hotel, which is about 15 Km to Kusadasi. We arrived at 1 a.m. and were immediately given the key to our room. First impression was that we ended in some cheap hotel, though they say it's a 4 star hotel and it costs like that. The room had moisture trails on the walls, and was smelling horrible. Later we found out that the smell was coming from a water tank situated nearby, which also was connected to some kind of motor that was wakeing us up in the morning. Our room was in the block D, and I learned that almost all the rooms here were the same. There were other blocks in the yard too, and from outside they seemed to look better. When we asked to change the room, after some arguing we were given another room in the same block which was even worse, had more moisture trails and the door could not be locked. So we stayed in the first one :) hoping that the next day at the meeting with the lady that was supposed to be our guide (was from the travel agency and assured us that we'll meet the next day at hotel reception) we would complain to receive another room. But she did,t come for 3 days :), so we remained where we were. The travel agency is Peninsula Tours. There were some goos parts though: pool, beach and food.

Unique Quality: The hotel has great: pool - with polo games and water gym organised every day, beach - private beach with umbrellas and chez-lounges, garden inside the courtyard - with flowers and palm trees, food&drinks - very good, diverse and plenty.
