Ephesus at night.

by Tammiko

Hello everyone, I have been asking about this tour/activity I came across a couple of days ago because it looks so amazing! I have had absolutely no answers from anyone at all. Has anyone ever done this, or even heard anything about it? It looks fabulous and I think that the picture ops alone would be worth a lot!

We are in overnight on the 20th of Nov. and had considered an overnight to Pamukkale but doesn't seem like such a wise idea and I admit I was kind of bummed but when I found this it looked pretty good!

For the people there, or who might be there during this time, if it was something that turned out to be worth doing (and a reasonable price) would anyone be interested in coming? Our ship rollcall is extremely quiet.

I would really appreciate any opinions out there! Thanks!

I've been to Ephesus several times. It's great ---but you have to be there first or last thing to avoid the crowds.

The night experience sounds fantastic ---I'd go for it I were you. However, I don't know any details about it.

Take water and a reasonable camera!

Travel Tips for Kusadasi

What are THOSE things?

by Arial_27

These are caterpillar cacoons :)
They use them to make silk. I'm not sure how they get ahold of so many, but once they do they are placed into boiling hot water and the stringy stuff they are made with is spun off with a machine and used to make silk, in order to make carpets.
It was pretty interesting, but you know me.... I'm an animal-lover, so I just felt bad for those poor caterpillars...
