TURKISH HOTELS

The accomadation in Kusadasi is generaly of a good standard ranging from pensions rooms and appartments to 5 star hotels but unfortunately the one we stayed at was crap. The TURKAD which is located right on the beach is in a prime position. Thats about the only good thing i can say about this hotel, it needs total refurbishment inside and out. The beds, wardrobes, chairs, etc must have been about 40 years old and a fridge in our room that had not been cleaned out. The carpet in our room was filthy with fag burns all over it. The pool area was ok and was ment to be only for hotel guests but the hotel staff wher charging the general public to use the pool so most of the time it was bloody packed. Another hotel guest who was just leaving warned us to check our final bill coz hers did not add up. So we dicided to take a note of everything we had i.e. drinks snacks ect and sure enough they tried to overcharge us quite a bit. Anouther con was to remove our towels daily and replace them with torn ones and then charging us with new ones. So if you are unlucky enough to stay at the turkad BE ALERT

Unique Quality: The only good thing about this hotel was the view. Appart from that it's utter crap. Oh and the pool was ok when it was'nt packed. This photo of the pool was taken at 8am before the crowds.
