Berlin Motel: Lakeside view
This German run (hence the name) motel is located overlooking the lake in the western part of town. It features a huge and rather posh looking restaurant at the front which can cater for a few hundred revellers for party and wedding receptions. As for the hotel, it's not all that big and the rooms are a bit dated. I had one that faced the lake which had a large balcony, TV, a/c and a raised bathroom that didn't have a light or a mirror inside. The bed had rather hard pillows and the hotwater only dribbled out of the shower. Breakfast wasn't all that much to write home about either but then I was the only one staying, there as it was January, and I felt rather an inconvenience than a guest. Other food, looking at the photos from the website, looks good, though.

Different accomodations in Iznik.: There is accomodation.
Whether it's hotels or motels you like, there are some in Iznik but I didn't have enough time to go in and get information and trying to find it anywhere seems near impossible, but here are 4 pictures of places all along the lake front and I did notice another in the centre of town.
All seem newly built and look nice from the outside.
Call tourist information, they might help with contact numbers.
