Alesta Boutik Otel: Alesta's the place

Alesta's a new boutique hotel in Bozcaada. It oversees the main town and the castle. The owners are just lovely, very hospitable, friendly and helpful, they made our stay all the nicer. Rooms are brand new, spotless clean with a beautiful view. It has approximately 9 rooms all together with a small garden where u can sit and have a delicious breakfast or a nice dinner overseeing the town. It's close to everything, the vinyards, beaches and restaurants while being on a hill thats away from the crowd.

Brand new rooms
Air Conditioning
great view
good breakfast

Otel Ege: It had been a school building

We have arrived Bozcaada by last ferry at midnight. This also means we couldn't find any hotel. So we have walked the streets and slept in the car. :)
The next day we realized that there are just a few rooms to accommodate in the center so we had to pick one. This hotel had been a primary school. Rooms were classes once. It was a nice place to stay.

There are various poems on the doors of hotel rooms.

Boruzan Hotel: Boruzan Hotel: Room 401

Bozcaada is a historical site and it is not permitted to build new buildings in the island. Therefore, all hotels and pensions of the island are located at old houses and the visitors should not expect to find the comfort of a new, luxury hotel in any of them. However, there are nice hotels with small, clean rooms

We stayed at Boruzan Hotel. It is run by the family which also runs the Boruzan Restaurant at the seaside. If you are a guest in the hotel, you can take the breakfast and the meals at the Boruzan Restaurant.

We were very lucky because we stayed in the best room of this small hotel: room 401. The room is on the roof that has a large terrace with a wonderful rview. Since it was the only room in the terrace we had the keys of both the room and the terrace and that made as feel like the owner of that place. The hotel uses the images of the terrace in its brochures so the other guests in the hotel was wondering where was this nice terrace and some of them came to visit us to see this special room. Other rooms does not have nice view because the hotel is surrounded by other buildings.

I recommend the hotel because it is very clean and the staff is friendly.

Zafer Hotel (or Motel): Best view and cool breeze in Bozcaada

We stayed at the Zafer Motel (Hotel) in the Bozcaada Town, for 4 nights in July 2005. We enjoyed our stay, and wished we could have stayed longer. We can recommend the Zafer Hotel for the following reasons:
- lovely position - overlooking the harbour
- all rooms have a view - many have balconies
- faces the north, cool breezes mean that it is never really hot, so comfortable sleep - air con. not necessary
- clean and very spacious rooms
- moderate tariff for high season (under 50YTL for 2 people per night)
- lovely buffet breakfast included in tariff
- good standard budget hotel
- lovely young couple run the hotel as a family business with friendly staff

Best views of the harbour of Bozcaada
Best value for money in Bozcaada in the Tourist class Hotel/Pension standard of accommodation
Quiet location, but still handy to all town facilities, cafes, etc.
