TJ's Hotel: Located near the ferry terminal

This large hotel is located right beside the ferry terminal in Eceabat, right beside the town's small square. I arrived and waited for the manager to arrive who speaks very good English. My room was a good size and clean, modern and tidy with 2 comfy single beds, a/c, TV, wardrobe and an excellent modern bathroom with a walk in hot water shower - all for TL30 (Jan 2010). Breakfast is served on the top floor in a huge terrace room which was a TV and cushions in one corner and a bar running down one side. There's windows on three sides which offer some great views over the town and the Dardanelles.

Hotel Kum: Kabatepe

Hotel Kum is an hotel with camping facilities. The hotel is in de middle of knowhere and it's a very quit place. If you don't have a car, you will need a taxi of a lift to get there. There aren't any shops nearby. So do your shopping before getting there. We were there in the beginning of September and it wasn't very busy. The camping has good facilities like clean douches en toilets with warm and cold water, washmachines and even a kitchen. You can also use the restaurant. Each evening the have "acik bufe" (walking diner) for a price between € 10,-- and € 15,-- per person. They have a swimmingpool, but when you are a campingguest you have to pay extra for it. It's a five minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach. At the bar on the beach you have in the evening a marvelous sight. Cost for two people per night with a tent and car were about € 10,--.

Boss II hotel: Best place to stay in town

Friendly and helpful staff, good food, rooms with bathroom. Quite a few stairs to climb if you're on the top floor like I was. Balcony with similar view to the photo, good value, architecturally interesting building (see lonely planet guide).

Unique Quality: Good bar outside in the evening.
