Travel Tips for Denizli
On the road to Pammukale

"The Trip"
I travelled to Pammukale the traditional way, by coach from Selcuk. The trip is normally three hours but about 40Km of the road is being resurfaced which made for a nightmare of going at 5 km per hour and the AC being turned off due to the terrible dust enetering the coach. However, all in all still very coimfortable, once arriving to Denizli we transferred to a dolmus to complete the journey, Denizli reminds me of some of these towns in America built along the interstate. The dolmus took us 'near' the entrance to P-kale,stopping for some suspicious tea at a travel-agent cum teahouse. THey were all very nice but no one is interewsted in buying any travel packages from them. The area was really hurt hard by the drop in tourism over the last several seasons.
