I went to kilis,the last town before syria;then alep is very near.I remember that a boy wanted to get into the bus gaziantep-kilis with a sheep;he asked me:halab? halab? I suppose he wanted to know if I was travelling to alep(syria)----with my passport full of israeli stamps and my address in jerusalem hahahah
Camping - Caravan
The Dülükbaba Forest located 4 km distance to city center is covered with Black pines and Cedar trees and is one of the biggest groove forest of Turkey with 40 km² area. The forest surrounds the northern and northwestern sides of the province. The facilities of camping and accommodation with caravans with the capacity of 5 thousand persons inside the Dülükbaba forest is available.
Hunting
It is possible to hunt partridge, wild duck, francolin and wild goose in the vicinity of Fýrat River with vast amounts. The Tahtaköprü Dam Lake located in the Ýslahiye district of Gazi Antep is a suitable hunting medium with freckle partridge, red legged partridge, francolin, wild duck, wild goose, owl, pigeon, sparrow, bee bird and wild boar.
Horse Riding
The courses available for horse riding activities are Rumkale vicinity located at the banks of Fýrat River, the banks of Fýrat River and Merziman Creek, Sofdaðý and Hýzýr Plateaus. Also the Burç Forest planted for recreation project is an available course for horse riding.
Trekking
Hýzýr Plateau(Amanos Mountains), Sof Mountain Plateau (Sof Mountain), Rumkale vicinity, banks of Fýrat River, Dülük Forests and Burç Forests are available for trekking activities.
Line Fishing
The available line fishing areas in Gazi Antep Province could be counted as Þahinbey Burç Small Lake, Tahtaköprü Dam Lake, Hancaðýz Dam Lake, Alleben Small lake and banks of Fýrat River.
