Booked as a (cheap) package deal, I don't think we could have done better booking ourselves.
This is a very friendly place to stay, staff helpful and always found time for a chat!many people we spoke to had been back several times, we would be happy to revisit too. Rooms a litttle basic but very clean and comfortable enough, fridges and aircon available at extra cost. Simple buffet breakfast included in the price. Poolside bar a popular place to have a drink in the evening.
Just about a five minute walk to the beach and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.
I booked this at the last minute through the owners site mainly because it was so cheap. But when I got there I was amazed to see how luxurious and convenient the accommodation was.

this 6 story hotel is located in a resort called Didum in Altinkum, the hotel is right on the fine sandy beach and you do step out of the hotel on to the beach...
It has sea veiws from all the rooms and is a lovely friendly hotel, lots of night life and shopping.
There are a great many day trips out to other parts of Turkey also day trips on the boats to the sorrounding islands
It has a pool, 2 bars indoors and outside over looking the beach.
Maids clean and change your room every day. there are loads of different bars and restaunts right outside and you also have a choise of 2 beaches that are lovely....
This hotel is on the main road (Ataturk Bulvar), but even if your room is on the front,it is oblivious to the traffic noise.
The rooms are bright and clean, and a maid cleans up daily.
The pool area is quite large and the best time to get your sunbathing in is early morning as a shadow comes over the area in the afternoon.
The restaurant is spacious and the meals are reasonable.
The bar is small and friendly, and stays open until you decide to go to bed.
In general this is a pretty good hotel and worth giving it a try.
I did and went back twice more.
This hotel, is the friendliest, and most homely hotel you are likely to find in the resort.
From the word go,Mustafa (the owner),his wife ,Songul treat you as an extension to the family. Their two daughters are a delight to be with, and both speak very good English.
As you have probably guessed, this is a family run hotel, and this couple with the help of a barman/chef and a cleaner, treat you like royalty from your arrival.
The rooms are spotless clean, and are attended every day.
The hotels situation makes it ideal for the beach and the centre of town, and even though it is centrally situated it is nice and quiet, so ideal for families with children.
The pool is small, and cleaned on a daily basis, with room for a few sunbeds poolside and along the terrace.
Across the way is in my opinion the best restaurant in Altinkum, and just 200 yards in either direction you are in the town centre or the beach.
If you are not staying there, on your second visit, call in,say hello, and you will still be treated as though you are.
For friendliness alone, this hotel should have 5 michelin stars.
The Nazar is situated centrally, very close to all amenities. There are four or five restaurants in the area, two being straight opposite the front door.
The pool area is small and clean, and a bit of a sun trap in the afternoon.
The rooms are basic and clean, but ,let's face it, you don't go on holiday to spend it in your hotel room. This reason being ,I don't like to harp on too much about good or bad hotels, that is ,unless they are dirty.
Situated at the end of a short street, with only a few bars around (none of them noisy) this is a good hotel for someone with children.
This is a reasonably small but friendly hotel, and well situated for all the central amenities.
The staff are quite friendly, but have a swift change of personnel. If you go at the end of the season, it seems that the people they have got left are casuals, who can hardly speak English.
The rooms are cleaned twice a week, and tidied on a daily basis.
All in all a good hotel giving value for money.
Very nice pool area, kept clean daily.
Good restaurant, but sadly under-used.
