Splendid Hotel: Most Historical in Buyukada
One of the eye-catching buildings on the island worth mentioning is the Splendid Palace Hotel, a building that has some of the most striking architecture on the island. Opened in 1908, the red and white appearance of the hotel and its domes attract admiring glances from everyone who comes to the island. The hotel has been hosting guests for 100 years with a distinctive combination of traditional hospitality and European style. In short, the Splendid Palace Hotel should be at the top of the list for anyone who wants to have a unique experience on Büyükada.

Splendid Palace Hotel: Nice hotel, but not its neigborhood
Hotel was built in 1907, however was recently refurbished. Exterior looks really nice and a sea view is excellent. Rates, staff and rooms are normal (3 star plus). Nice pool. Awful breakfasts...
The worst thing is a disco next door, that works upto 3 a.m. It spoils everything. Otherwise everything seems to be alright.

Buyukada Princess Hotel: The best one in Buyukada
New building in old style. Rooms are perfect, spacious and silent. Breakfast and staff are normal. Good place to stay with someone special. I would rate it as a 4 star.
Great accommodation for upto 5 nights. The only impleasant thing is a really small pool next to the main restaurant, which is always occupied with pigeons (I mean birds).

Marine House Boutique Hotel: Great new hotel
We stayed for two nights at the modern Marine House hotel and were very impressed with the place. The room was fine, and although the bathroom was small, the facilities were great and the bed/room very comfortable. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone who wants to stay on the island.
The staff don't speak much English, but we were able to make ourselves understood - when we arrived, they brought us a tray containing two glasses of red wine (best we had during our visit to Turkey) and a chocolate fondue with fruit. This was unexpected and made for a great welcome. The last evening we stayed there they brought the fondue and the wine again! Totally unexpected (it's what made me want to write a nice review of the hotel)
The rooftop restaurant/cafe has great views too and we were able to lounge there most of the afternoon without any problems - the hotel also has excellent wifi coverage (free)

Marine House Hotel: Friendly staff, clean and charming hotel.

Splendid Palace Hotel: A palace hotel.
I did not stay here but I would recommend it for it's location, fab building design and history. This building can be both a sight in itself and a place to stay.
It's located near the ferry port overlooking the sea of marmara and Istanbul on the horizon. The building looks like it has some "taj mahal" ish touch. It looks like a palace, well, it used to be, here's the history of this hotel at --- Historic hotels
