Good and clean hotel. Secure inside staying as it neighbors to the City Courts and offers free safe box. The personel is kind and ready to serve. The hotel is very close to any of the best touristic sites of the Old City. The best room is the 309, with great view of the Sultanahmet Camii, Agia Sofia Orthodox Church and Bosporus. 209 is also a very good room. During the day, the area is full of tourists, but not in front of the hotel, which is very quit. But during the night is best to take a taxi (important: called by the hotel's personel) and go to Pera-Beyoglu (Nisandasi area is the best) as the hotel's area has poor and low class nightlife (especially if you are a woman). Breakfast buffet is not great, but good. The Accura Hotel is suitable for someone who wants to visit the greatest Old City sites (Agia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Ippodrome, Basilica Cistern, Top Kapi, Kapali Carsi-Bazaar, etc) as it is very close to them (the traffic is very heavy during the day and you loose 1/2 hour if you are lucky or more if you stay to the hotels around Taksim Square). During the night you have to move by taxi. The taxi must be called by the hotel, in order not to trying to fraud you. Taxis are cheap, with no extra charge, for the hotel. [ TIP: if you are not in your hotel and you want a taxi, get in ANY other hotel that is close to you and ask them to call you a taxi - DO NOT get any taxi from the street]
Free safe box. Good view for most of the rooms. As my staying was during March, I have no opinion about the hotel's roof restaurant-cafe. Leave a Comment Theme: HotelPrice: US$40-80 » Currency ConverterComparison: less expensive than averagePhone: 21 25179890
