Accura Hotel Istanbul

Hotel Accura is a 4-Star Hotel; the room you want is suite 309. This is a special room, spacious and clean with a tub incorporating a shower. These accommodations surpass many good western hotels plus they add a million-dollar view. This also includes a great breakfast buffet. The best part of this suite is the private roofed balcony that overlooks the Black Sea with its ship traffic, the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia. The entire hotel rooftop is one large terrace overlooking all of Istanbul, in case you choose another room. For the money I found this a good buy. I was able to negotiate a better rate due to the length of my stay, 10-days. If you contact, Hande Cele, the hotel manager, she may be able to accommodate you at a reduced rate, depending on availability and seasonal schedule.

Unique Quality: All the best photos I captured were shot from the private balcony or rooftop terrace of this 4-Star hotel. The sun rises from behind Hagia Sophia during late August and is absolutely magnificent. Fresh water is trucked into the hotel when needed. I found the accommodations of this hotel to be above average and the breakfast buffet selection quite varied and refreshing. Most everything you will want to see and do for the first several days is within walking distance of this hotel. Public transportation will handle your other needs. Security is noticeably above average here.
