We stayed here in April 2007, its location is probably its best point as its across the road from the blue mosque. The room we had was facing the street and was perfectly fine clean and spacious. On the first night we were awoken by the call to prayer at four in the morning, it has a certain charm the first time you hear it but the other mornings we could have done without it. Breakfast was quite good with loads of asian fruits, figs, dates etc. The restaurant is several floors up and has superb views of the Bosphorus and the Sea of Marmara with its bumper to bumper of ships and liners. There was one waiter who there who plagued us to have dinner in the restaurant in the hotel throughout our stay, unfortuneatly we should have politely refused from the beginning. The food is fine and basic in the evening but you probably would be the only one there in the restaurant as there a several much better places within walking distance of the hotel. Overall I would recommend this hotel. Theme: HotelComparison: about average
