  • This hotel is in a great location, about as close to Aya Sofia as you can get without being in it. Breakfast is on the rooftop terrace which has a great view. Rooms are nice and the staff are friendly. They also pick you up from the airport for free.

    Without doubt the best thing about this hotel is the location. The view from the terrace is an added bonus.

    Highly recommended. Good location, just across the road from the Blue Mosque & AyaSofia. A quiet location. Friendly & helpful staff. However rooms are quite small but clean. It would be great if they could provide kettle/hot water flask.

    We stayed 4 nights in the Ambassador Hotel, a hotel which i can definitely recommend. The hotel is conveniently located next to the SultanAhmet tram stop and is only a few minutes walk from the Blue Mosque and the Hagya Sofia. The staff at the reception is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast buffet is a great start of the day. The breakfast room and the terrace offer a great view over the Blue Mosque and the Bosporus. There aren't really drawbacks, or it must be the call for the morning prayer from the nearby mosque in the early morning, but that's part of the Istanbul experioence. The hotel offers a fitness room (free of charge) and you can get a massage from a professional masseur (20-30 euro).
