An unique design hotel
I had the opportunity to stay there for a couple of days.The location can be considered as central as it takes only 5mins walk to metro-you can take the metro and the next stop is the center Taksim-. It is more near to the shopping area in Istanbul.The staff was very kind and helpful.They didnt even hesitate to prepare the sauna just before we check out from the hotel and they took care of any restaurant reservations and time schedules we wanted to have.The breakfast was delicious,especially croissants,fruits and different types of chese.Our room was nice,there were white satin sheets on the bed,and the bathroom was designed in a modern way.There is a bathtub that 2 people can easily rest inside. Even the bathing stuff -shampoo,shower gel,soap- was the products of a famous fashion designer in Turkey called Yargici.The aircondition had been turned on before we arrive,so we just came into a very cool room -which feels very good-.There was a big big guide of Istanbul,a shopping guide and some magazines at the room.The hotel was very silent and i have to tell that i loved the sauna.
Unique Quality: The design of the whole building and the behaviour of the staff were very nice.The health center floor that contains the sauna and the fitness center was very refreshing and relaxing.

oasis in crazy Istanbul
As a big fan of design hotels I loved this small place located just north of Taksim.
I secured an excellent rate thru the hotel website and upon check in was upgraded to a larger suite with a view over the modern part of Istanbul. The rooms are super comfortable, large with bath and shower combos. Linens on the beds was crisp and clean.
A nice breakfast is included with cold items but filling for a long day of touring and walking.
Staff was extremely friendly and accommodated all requests with a smile!
Unique Quality: modern, clean and well designed.

nice, chic boutique hotel
I actually stayed there first in August 2004, then the next summer as well. I read about it at first in The Guide Istanbul then I went to see it. It's a minimalist design hotel with lots of chrome and monochromatic scheme. Tasteful decor and smart ambiance. The staff were very professional. The breakfast included in the room was actually quite good presented via an attractive buffet setting on the first floor. The location is very near Nisantasi and is also within walking distance to the metro in Osmanbey (I think). Taxim is a short taxi ride away.
Unique Quality: The all-male staff were polite and friendly. The hotel is well appointed in a tasteful, clean-lined monochromaric, minimalist manner. The rooms were comfortable with duvets on the bed and mini toiletries by Yargici. Bathrooms were modern and minimalist. The room was facing a side street VS the main street so it was a not bad. The windows are double glazed so the outside noise is muffled. Also I like the fact that there are blackout curtains which enabled me to sleep in. Breakfast was included. It was good and had healthy options. The fitness center has basic amenities but there was no bench at the time of my stay. The staff kindly offered to put a makeshift one although it was one that didn't incline. I hope they have a proper bench for exercising with weights by now.

Comfort in Simplicity
The first HIP Hotel in town. The atmosphere is unique, the hotel is located downtown. Internet access is free of charge in the rooms, as well as the sauna and the fitness center.
Unique Quality: The top floor suites r great, with their terrace and spectacular view.
