This is Istanbul. A city divided in two continents, in new and old, in tradition and modernism, in beauty girls and even more beautiful girls...The energy that to one it transmit the transit around Taksim Square is unforgettable. The people, the trams, the taxies, the buses, the bycicles...Everybody moving at the same time..Taskim marks the first (or final) station of the only line of Metro operating in Istanbul. Planes are there to extend the Metro network and the city is needing it very much. The population growth rate of the city overpassed half million a year a while ago. We have similar experiences in our countries in Latinamerica. The only way to stop the trend is to develop the country side. They, at the government, know. We know. Everybody knows.
