Istanbul - Conrad Hotel
Conrad Hotel has a great view to the bosphorus and the hotel is very luxurious.
There is a nice coffee bar on the 14th floor with amazing view that i went to see.
I spent 3 nights at the luxurious Conrad in Istanbul and was pleasantly surprised at how relaxed the atmosphere was and not at all like a stuffy hotel that I originally envisioned.
The beautiful views of the Bosphorus were something I could not get enough of.
The Conrad Istanbul has won numerous lodging awards including 'Turkey's Leading Business Hotel' at the World Travel Awards.
The luxurious Presidential Suite, the only one of its kind in Istanbul, has been the home to US presidents and other global dignitaries when they have been in Istanbul.
The Conrad also contains four great restaurants and patisseries and a rooftop bar with views of the waters, hills, and city.
Unique Quality: One of the few hotels that is accessible to all, especially those that are physically challenged. In addition, it is non-smoking and both the overt and covert security made me very comfortable.
Stay for the comfort and security and enjoy the views at the same time, a nice combination

We had 2 nights accommodation included with our 15 day Turkey tour. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, everything you would expect from a 4/5 star hotel. There were many facilities which we did not have time to use such as the outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts.
Breakfast was good, however on our first morning we could not find a table and had to sit in the courtyard. The next morning there were plenty of tables available as the large conference finished the previous day.
The hotel location best suited the tour company as it was some distance from the city centre. This did not worry us as we arrived in Istanbul 3 days prior to the tour and our accommodation was in the Sultanahmet district, the Europe side of the city.
For shopping , dining and entertainment visit Istikal Caddesi by taking a short taxi ride to the funicular which will take you up to Taksim and you can walk the 3km long pedestrianized street. A night visit is best.
For the first two nights of our tour we stayed at the Conrad Hotel. An extremely nice 5 star hotel, only problem was that it was quite a distance from the old town.
Unique Quality: View over the city and bospherous
The Conrad Istanbul is next to the main buildings of Yildiz Palace on a hillside overlooking the Bosphorus. The hotel's public rooms are rich in colored stone with which Turkey abounds. Service is first-rate.
Most of its 584 guest rooms and 51 Executive rooms, suites and apartments have Bosphorus views. As with any hotel boasting Bosphorus views, the views vary from room to room--keep this in mind when you reserve.
The Conrad has an indoor-outdoor swimming pool and its own tennis courts as well as a spa, sauna and health club.Although the Conrad is right next to Yildiz Palace and only a noisy 10-minute walk uphill from busy Besiktas, with its Naval Museum, ferry dock and market district, you'll find yourself taking taxis to just about everywhere else.
If you're coming to Istanbul for business the Conrad is a good choice: from the hotel you can zoom right up Barbaros Bulvari to the Esentepe, Gayrettepe, Mecidiyeköy and Zincirlikuyu business districts.

Located in Yildiz Park just above Besiktas, the Conrad Hotel (part of the Hilton chain) is a typical five-star with all the typical amenities. The views from the Bosphorus-side windows are fantastic, and the pool and spa facilities are first-rate. However, soundproofing is very poor.
Unique Quality: The Summit Bar on the 14th floor provides stunning views of Istanbul and the Bosphorus.

Conrad hotel: Conrad hotel is just above Besiktas, Having a nice view of Bosphorus. The hotel is not close to touristy area, however a good location for Business travels. As there is no 5 star hotel in the Asian side this is a good alternative, as the hotel is in easy reach to the bridge, you can cross the other side easily..
Address: YildizCaddesi, 80700 Besiktas – Istanbul
The Marmara: Just at the center of Taksim square. Walk outside hotel and you are in the middle of Istanbul. The marmara hotel is also one of the oldest hotel in Istanbul. Though it has been renovated, still the high rise building looks very old..

We stayed at the Conrad Istanbul. Obviously it isn't going to be the cheapest place in town. It is one of the most civilised hotels I have stayed in for a long time.
USD 170 - USD 2000
Unique Quality: The Summit Bar on the 14th floor has a terrace which provides a great view of the city. The photographs on this page were taken from the bar.

Unlike many other reviewers here I thought my recent Conrad Istanbul stay was pretty good value. Got a room on the executive floor for around $250 a night which included complimentary drinks and breakfast in the very pleasant terrace bar, with stunning views over the Bosphorus. Yes, the hotel is a bit far away from the core of the city but to be honest in Istanbul that is something of a relief - it's such a hectic place that it was nice to be able to seal out the outside world for a while. The outdoor pool is nice enough, sauna and spa area functions fine but could do with a bit of updating. Service consistently good although check-in and checkout was a bit slow and inefficient - certainly not up to all the 'american academy of hospitality' standards proudly displayed in gold frames abover the reception desk. But I thought the ambience and style was pretty good, staff consistently very polite and friendly, and couldn't really complain about the cost. Overall, would recommend if you are on business and you want to be able to work efficiently.
