Good Location hotel in Istanbul

I stayed at Erboy hotel in last winter. I like this hotel because the location (Sirkeci) not far from train station( only 2 minite walking distance). So you can go easy to everywhere around Istambul.

The room clean but small (I though most hotel in Istambul small). You need to choose twin bed if stayed with your friends because double bed not big enough for two people.

They provide good Turkish breakfast, I like honey comb (I don't know it is real comb or the chef made it ).
You can easily find restaurant, grocery, art shop around hotel (Sirkeci area).
It take 3 minute to Sultan Ahmet area by train.

I will stay at Erboy (again) if I visit Istambul next year.

Unique Quality: The location is good, not far from train station.
Erboy hotel has top deck reastaurant, you can see Bosphorus sea from this place.

Nice and clean hotel

I stayed 4 day at Erboy hotel during last winter .
Location at Sirkeci only 50 meter from train station and 10 mnt by walking to Sultan Ahmet or 2 mnt by train .The room small but clean, heater working well. good breakfast menu.
If you are couple and has big body, prefer to choose twin bed. Because the double bad will be too small for you..:)

Unique Quality: You can find easily : restaurant, groceries, art shop around Erboy hotel.

And The beautiful recepction lady very nice and heplful.
I ordered room (5 days) via internet, the provide pick and drop from airport

Nice a close to the Old Town sights

This hotel is in an excellent location on the peninsula in the Sultanahmet district.

It gives you great access to the St Sophia Museum, the Blue Mosque and the Topkapi Palace, all of which are easily walkable.

I stayed here for two nights in September 2009. The hotel room was pretty basic but clean.

Breakfast was good. I would stay here again if I just needed the basics.

Unique Quality: A roof top terrace was a good spot to take some photos of the St Sophia Museum.

A very Happy Anniversary

We met and stayed here 5 years ago and wanted to renew our Istanbul memories. The hotel is better than moderate and after the filthy room at the Barcello hotel, we were glad to return to a better standard at the Erboy. The ajoining restaurant is first class and breakfasts were a delight.
The friendly staff, from the manager to the bell boy were very polite and efficient.
A stay at this hotel makes for a superb holiday in Istanbul.

Istanbul, turkey hotel

I spent 10 days in Erboy one of the sirkeci group. The room was not very big but sufficient, it has sat tv, telephone, air condition, bathroom with a shower, hair dryer, the towels are changed everyday.Everything is very clean. From window I could see aghia sofia, a piece of topkapi palace, and gulhane park.Erboy has 3 restaurants: terace one with a view on the golden horn, galata tower, and sultanahmet.Breakfast is served in another restaurant , fresh fruits , vegetables, charcuterie, all sorts of cheese an yogourt, different breads, home made cakes, fresh fruit juices. When I had breakfast there , I could'nt eat till the evenig. There is also a bar on top of the reception.Room service 24/24.Free internet.
Erboy is very well located , close to tramway (gulhane), eminonu port, sirkeci station, sultanahmet , grand bazar, spice bazar. The pasazade restaurant , very elegant with a turkish decoration serves a real turkish cuisine, it has also a terace outside on the pedestrian street Ibn Kemal, with a big choice of restaurants, shops etc.
The english speaking staff is very nice , friendly and helpfull.
Aise the youg lady manager does more than any other hotels managers, , she helps everyone .Just ask her.

I reccommend Erboy for all.

Unique Quality: Nice staff, nice manager, very good location in a safe street.

Hi, I usually stay at Erboy. It's a nice hotel in a good location near everything. The rooms are a little small but nice and very clean.A restaurant on the terace , a bar, pasazade restaurant an ottoman cuisine one.A lot of choice for breakfast.
From sabiha Gokcen it's a long way, if you take the havas bus to taksim.I always land at Ataturk.
