Small but warm
I stayed there for 7 nights.
The room was small ,but enough for single man travelling to Istanbul.
The workers there were too much friendly and able to speak English,Arabic,Russian beside thier native language.
Very clean ,and the service is very good.
They have access to Golden age 1 which has a turkish bath and swimming pool.
above all ,it's located in the heart of Istanbul,just about 400m from taksim and istiklal street.
Very safe area and the police (janderma) are everywhere .
Unique Quality: the room contains ,mini bar,hair dryer,TV and central A/C.
Security 24 hours.

Golden Age 2 Hotel in Taksim
Does anyone have any idea about the Golden Age 2 Hotel. We are about to make a reservation for one week in this hotel. How big is their standard double rooms in terms of sqm and how about service, breakfasts, location etc.... Do they have a website?
Appreciate any advise at all.

Hey there :-),
yes i have been in this hotel 1 year ago. The hotel is in a quiet street very very near the TAXIM square, which is very nice part of Istanbul. The hotel is 3 stars and it is OK. The rooms are OK and breakfast is included in the price for a standard DBL or SGL room. They have cable TV and etc. It is buy the way th eonly 3 star hotel in that area. I am sure you will like it.

I do not know how big are the rooms of Golden Age 2 Hotel but the location is one of the most important center of Istanbul. The surrounding of the hotel is recently reorganised and closed for motor traffic.
You will enjoy being there.
