This 4-star hotel is located in Fatih district close to the Fındıkzade tram stop. The personnel is nice, although some of them have little problems with English, but never mind. The breakfast was tasty and diverse. The hotel features a wlan, I also could use it up in my 2nd floor room (although they warned me that it works only in the lobby).
You can easily access the old city (Kapalı Çarşı, Topkapı palace, Sultanahmet Camii, Ayasofia) by tram, and there are also several buses leaving for Taksim and İstikal Caddesi, so the modern downtown.
