Close to everywhere
A short while ago I visited for the first time Istanbul and stayed at Hali Hotel. It is a simple but sympathetic place. Rooms are of avarage standards, but enough for a comfortable stay. The lobby with the bar is also cosy. The breakfast at the terrace with a wonderful view to the important sites is a plus.
The central location and surrounded for countless historical sites ( St.Sophia and Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Topkapi palace etc) is important for choosing Hali Hotel.
The staff was friendly but the shower room needed some repair.
The price is around 80 Euro but in low season I negociated for 45 after the second night and stayed more 3 nights.
In short: this is the right place if you wish to visit the more important tourist places in just a few days.
Unique Quality: Where else in the world can one have breakfast looking at Blue Mosque and Haiga Sophia with Marmara sea as a background?
Or wake up, go to the room´s terrace and appreciate the rising sun between Sultan Ahmet Camii minaretes?
