Just finished a stay at the Uyan Hotel and has a great time. I'm not one to spend a lot time in the hotel while on vaction so I wasn't expecting much but I was happily surprised at the Uyan. Stayed at this hotel following other comments on the VT site. Terrific location, freindly staff and good value. They even arrange airport pick up and drop-off.

The view from the restaurant is fantastic. Left - the Blue Mosque. Right - Aghia Sophia.
Don't go to their recommended restaurant though - use Balikci Sabahattin around the corner (a fantastic fish restaurant).
