Convenient Hotel for the City Centre

The hotel is situated very close to the city centre with its shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast wasn't much to speak about and there was not much choice. I used it because it is close to the British Consulate and we needed to do business there. The double glazing had failed making the room noisy. They can arrange free transport to & from the airport. One night I woke up suddenly to what I thought was the sound of fireworks only discover that the police were outside a nightclub that was close by and someone had discharged a firearm.

Unique Quality: It was possible to haggle over the price of rooms as with every thing Turkey. The cable television they had in the rooms was the best I have encountered anywhere on my travels. A flick of a button could change the language on a film back to the original which was generally English. This hotel should not be confused with the Pera Palace of Agatha Christie fame which is about 400 metres away and much more expensive.

  • Opinion of Price: less expensive than average
