Hyatt Regency Istanbul

Stayed there on my first trip way back for a week in the winter and wasn`t impressed with the hotel in general ,It didn`t live up to the luxury brand the hyatt is known for or maybe it was the gloom of winter but i doubt it . The reception staff weren`t nice ,the tired small seating area in the lobby ,tired room furnishing ,room size not up to par with other Hyatts but good sized big bathroom with a circular tub, limited choice for breakfast, but generally it was good . Guess it must have been refurbished now as i heard from others that it has been renamed Grand Hyatt and is very nice.

Unique Quality: Outdoor pool area was closed in the winter.

Well I might not be able to give a neutral feedback on that hotel as it is connected to a lot of personal memories and experiences.

Unique Quality: At the time I stayed in this hotel the service was top and really 5 star. I say that because sometimes you stay at 5 star hotels where you get 2 star service. At the Hyatt Istanbul you will be served well - I had never or only seldomly experienced such professional service like there. The Hyatt Festival of Wine is a yearly highlight, initiated by Turkeys best sommelier.

Directions: Taksim area, close to Istiklal Caddesi, the famous shopping street that will lead you to the Galatasaray tower.

Definitely one of the best hotels in Istabul, right near the Taksim, with percect service and spacious rooms.
Very good buffet breakfast.
Interior lacks the stylish design of other, rather recent Hyatts.
Highly recommendable, but others next door (Interconti, Hilton) offer same at lower rates

Hyatt Regency Hotel: Just next to the Ceylan Hotel, very near to Taksim Square. The hotel is a good quality hotel. The interior of the hotel is an artwork in itself, with countless art pieces in every places.. A nice hotel for elegant stays..

Hilton Hotel: "Take me to Hilton".. Hilton is one of the oldest 5 stared hotel in Istanbul. It has been renovated and serving with the classical hilton style.. We choose this hotel for our business quests also.. There is also very good meeting room facilities at Hilton..
