Outside Istanbul
if you want to relax from a day of going around istanbul, klassis resort hotel is your best bet. i recommend an overnight stay for relaxation and rejuvination. they have an indoor and outdoor HEATED pool. myohmy! even if the temperature outside is 17-20C, the pool remaina a relaxing 30C.
the room we got is quite large. there was a small sitting area beside the bed. wifi are available in the lobby and you can request for cable internet in your room.
Unique Quality: the hotel is really FAR from istanbul (1 hour ride). the shuttle service was late 2 days in a row (15-30mins) and they had to change the bus in the middle of the freeway because there was engine trouble. but, hey.. i'm on vacation so am just taking it in stride.. no worries =) side note: the italians that were riding with us in the bus said they have been staying in the hotel for a long time (they work in istanbul) and they said this was the first time they had difficulty with the shuttle.

Peace and quiet
the hotel in this resort is really sprawling. had to go through a lot of corridors to get to our room. they have a free shuttle to istanbul (9am) and back (5pm). the hotel is REALLY far from istanbul.. 70km (i think) but the price is very reasonable .. so if you plan to spend a lot of time in istanbul, you really have to plan your day so you can pack it all in.
