The Grand Bazaar and the Spice Market. Although the locals consider these tourist traps, they are fascinating. They have both been there for centuries, and especially in the spice market, I could imagine the caravans arriving with spices from the east.
Hagia Irene Church

This beautiful old orthodox church is located indise the Topkapi Palace walls. As you enter the first Big Gate, and before you pass the 2nd one (the real entrance to the palace) you will find this old church on your left.
It’s nowadays closed to the public, so if you wanna see the interior, look at the postcards!

you have to bergain while you make shopping.
the most famous shopping areas are aksaray for cheap goods and taksim for more qualified goods.
the most touristic bazar is the grand covered bazar and there is also many shops behind istanbul's univeristy that sell many old coins and second hand goods.
Atik Ali Pasa Mosque

Atik Ali Pasa Complex, located on Yeniceriler Street in Cemberlitas Neighborhood of Eminönü District, was built by a Grand Vizier named Bosnali Hadim Atik Ali Pasa in 1496, in the reign of Sultan Beyazit II. (1481-1512).
The mosque has a space of 21x28 m itself. The central dome of the mosque, 13m in diameter which formed the ceiling of the structure, was supported by a half-dome and four small domes.
