All these three, 4 stared hotels are located next to each other and just very close distance to Taksim square.. Taksim square is the main square in Istanbul, where the city of Istanbul enjoys and lives.. Taksim is decent and the center of cities Business district and if you need a hotel near taksim , you can choose one of these hotels..
If I were to choose between them I would choosed the best priced one:) ... Cause all these hotels looks very similar, the quality is high and the service is good.. Their location is just next to each other and in close distance to main center..
Will be staying at the Nippon Hotel in April - has anyone stayed there? Have we made a good choice?

Nipppon Hotel is just at Taksim Square. It takes only two minutes to the Monumetnt of Liberation at taksim Square. Taksim is the new part of ıstanbul. The old part is called Sultan Ahmet. The main street is "Istiklal Caddesi" All the district is called "Beyoglu" or as ancient name "Pera" If you walk along Istiklal Caddesi which takes 45 minutes walking to the other end you will feel yourself as if you are walking at a bad copy of Vienne or Italy. Beyoglu was inhabited during Ottoman period with mostly christian citizens. At the end of Istiklal Caddesi you will come to "Tunel" a very short underground metro. The Tuenel will take you Karakoy to the port within a minute. At karakoy you can walk along the famous "Galata Bridge" to old, ancient part of Istanbul.
I advice you to walk along the narrow streed just near the entrance of Tunel. On the way you can visit the famous Galata Tower builded by Italian Genoovesen.
At Nippon hotle there are many Japaneese tourist staying. Nippon is the japaneese word for Japan.
Have a nice time.
Nippon Hotel is in Taksim, on the opposite side of Istiklal Caddesi. It's at the end of the street fronting McDonalds. Some 5 minutes walk to the start of Istiklal Cad.
There are a lot of bars and partying happening on that street as I passed by there last month. Choosing place of stay or hotels in Istanbul depends entirely on your itinerary, your interest and what neighborhood you prefer. Taksim is more of a nightlife and crowd of people converging in a long single street and its branches 24 hours a day, almost.
Though there are some interesting historical sights in Beyoglu, the popular ones are in fact located on the historical district - in Sultanahmet which of course can be reached in less than half an hour by public trasport from Taksim.
But if you're asking bout the quality of the hotel? Sorry, can't comment. But location-wise, well, good choice, yet I would say not the best, and there are even better. My opinion only.
