Where is the best place to take a cruise from Turkey to Grece ?

Fernando, A short cruise of five days is offered from Kusadasi where you can visit the ancient site of Ephesus. The cruise starts and ends in Kusadasi. The first day is Patmos, Greece. 2nd Day Rhodes, Greece. 3rd Day Crete - Santorini, Greece. 4th Day Piraeus - Mykonos, Greece. 5th Day return to Kusadasi. It is always fascinating to look at the Bosphorus strait and think that here is where Europe and Asia meet.
The gigantic bridge that crosses the strait can be seen from far away, but as a tourist you will more likely use the ferry to make the crossing.
Definetly recommended is a boat trip by the Bosphorus, amongst Asia and Europe. There are hundreds of touristic boats, different sizes and prices (ask any travel agent). If you are in a low budget, take the ferry that crosses the Bosphorus to Uskudar. Very cheap and very authentic. There is a man selling tea on board in those typical little glasses (Chai, chai!!). Take the boats at Eminonu, by the old Galata Bridge, close to the Railway Station.
Nargile (water pipes) are interesting instruments for smoking. The main idea is that the smoke is filtered through water (sometimes other liquids like milk or fruit juice)
A nargile can be smoked up to hours at a time. Since it takes up so much time it is no longer as popular as it used to be. Today, people still go to smoke nargiles which recently comes in different flavours. It is usually accompanied with fruit or herbal teas and a game of backgammon ("tavla")
Many nargile "cafe" s can be found at Tophane. There are also some places for younger smokers where they can listen to rock, metal and pop.
Only a few people decide to visit this pavilion, separated from the main complex, and housing a small museum. Well, it's nice, a sort of greenhouse where glass is king in all the details.

In the history Sultans make their transportation from the sea with some special boats powered by man power (14 man power)
Nowadays we have the replicas of this boats for touristic trips on bosphorus and the Golden horn .Its motor powered and its safe and pleasant to make a trip with this originals sultans boats ..
