Cemberlitas Hammam (turkish bath)
by SirRichard
This is probably the most famous of the hammams amongst tourist. Though is a bit expensive (comparing with the media) is a good place for your first hammam experience, as there are many tourists like you and they speak english (not fluent, but english anyway).
Price: 10$ only hammam, 15$ with massage.
They have private cabins where you can leave all your belongings.
It’s located in Yeniceriler Caddesi, just in front of the Constantine’s column.

Actually most of Istanbul lies 'off the beaten path'. Many tourists do not venture out of the historic section, which is only just a tiny fraction of the old city. Istanbul is a very large metropolis and it's continuously expanding.
