Sultanahmet Suites - far below expectation
This apartment is very cost-inefficient - it is expensive for what it is. It offers almost no service, and the facility as a whole is very poor. There are many nice hotels in Istanbul, which offer great facilities and services, and those are cheaper than this apartment. So never bother about this apartment.
As for our stay, we have many complaints. For example, they didn't arrange a transfer from the airport that they promise on the internet. They canceled late check out arrangement. The wifi didn't work. The kitchen has one hotplate. It was totally underequipped - nothing like they say on the website that kitchen is "fully" equipped. The room in the basement has no window, thus, no sunlight. The photos and information on the website are not reliable. Local people told us that this apartment often overbooks ad sends guests to other dirty places. So, a confirmed booking doesn't guarantee a room in this apartrment!
Finally, we must say that many comments on tripadvisor sound fake. Based on our own experience, we can assure that this apartment never deserves that kind of a deluge of extreme compliments. To begin with, how come there are so many extreme compliments appearing one after another for this tiny apartment ?? The posting is so frequent that all of them sound very dubious. This apartment seems desparate to get customers, and that's why it probably posts those and manipulates rating, which is very unfortunate. So, we should become more careful and intelligent to detect their self-promotions.
Unique Quality: They offer only the room and nothing else. Very low value.
